up for sale or trade is my custom 2004 Comp G.  This is a rare vehicle because they were only made for 2 years with this trim line.  Pontiac is soon to become a collectors item and this one is no exception.  I love this car, built it myself, looks brand new, dont let the miles fool you, this is the strongest 6cyl engine GM makes.  They really are bullet proof.  Plus I have gone thru the engine and fixed all the common problems they have (i.e. leaking valve cover gaskets, coolant elbow failure, intake manifold gasket)  The engine was throughly cleaned and detailed. It runs like it has half the miles on it, and it is quick! The car turns head everywhere it goes, and I see people take pics as I go by.  It is my daily driver and it is turn key, it needs nothing but a new resonator gasket which I have, just havent changed it yet. I only drive it  less than 30 miles a day, but it is my main car so the mileage will keep going up has about 202k on the clock.  I wouldn't hesitate to drive it cross country!

I have upgraded the stereo to a touch screen unit with blue tooth.  there is a 12 inch self-powered subwoofer in the trunk that sounds very nice.  I also have upgraded all the ground wires to 0 gauge (alternator, ground to chassis)  New duralast battery, new alternator, new Power steering pump and steering rack.

all maintenance has been taken care of, (tranny flush, fuel filter, oil change, etc)  this car is my baby, I cant stress that enough, and it is good in the snow despite being lowered.

TAPShift (use the car as a 4 speed clutch less manual, using paddle shifters on the steering wheel)
New tires
SD Headers
Custom 4 in cold air intake
Overkill Motorsports tune
180 degree thermostat
JVC DVD head unit W/BT and parking brake bypass
12in Woofer
Python 991 Remote/alarm system (1 mile range)
A pillar gauge pod (boost oil press and Aeroforce interceptor scan gauge)
Reverse Camera
Switchback turn signals
5000k Hid kit
Hella horns
Wheelskinz steering wheel cover
All exterior lights were professionally tinted (with a tinted clear coat paint, not film or vht crap)
Interior lights have been upgraded to LEDs (bright white)
HD Trailing arms
Larger dual piston front caliper upgrade for more stopping power
Front and Rear GMPP stabilizer bars
GM Performance Special Edition front bumper lip
Solid motor and tranny mounts
5% windshield visor
Reflective black PONTIAC windshield banner
35% tint all the way around the vehicle
3.5in dual tips for exhaust
Modular Pulley System with 3.6in pulley for the supercharger
DNA performance lowering springs
the whole undercarriage has been undercoated with por-15
lambo orange vinyl wrapped
Plus things I probably forgot to mention

I am the 2nd owner and still have the original window sticker, almost everything mechanical minus the drivetrain has been replaced on this vehicle, runs great.

LEATHER, HEATED SEATS, MOONROOF, HEADS UP DISPLAY, BLUETOOTH, REMOTE START, STABILTRAK, MAGNASTEER

Feel free to ask questions,

Have many more pics if needed

upgraded brakes, larger rotors in the front, new rotors in back, and ceramic pads all the way around 2 sets of keys, 2 stock remotes, 1 2way pager and 1 remote included with vehicle

Ive also add Lucas 42.5# injectors and put in a new fuel rail. the car has all highway miles, its runs fast, strong, and screams!!! I personally only put 10k on it since ive rebuilt it, (its a small state lol)

Junkyard Gem: 1987 Pontiac Firebird

Sat, May 9 2020

From 1967 through 2002, the Pontiac Division offered the Firebird, close sibling to the Chevrolet Camaro. By the third generation, which debuted for the 1982 model year, it became more difficult to tell the two F-body cars apart at a glance and the Pontiac-exclusive engines of the earlier years disappeared, but the Firebird still retained its own personality and its own position in the GM marketing hierarchy. I still find the occasional 1982-1992 Camaro as I search car graveyards for interesting stuff, but the corresponding Firebirds have become scarce in recent years. Here's a base-engine-equipped '87, its Bright Red paint (yes, that was the official name for the color) faded by the Colorado sun as it awaits the crusher. Firebird shoppers had their choice of three engines in 1987: A 5.7-liter Chevy V8 (210 hp), a 5.0-liter Chevy V8 (205 hp) and the same 2.8-liter 60° V6 that went into the Fiero and countless front-drive GM sedans (135 hp). This car has the base engine. The third-gen F-body didn't weigh much (3,105 pounds for the '87 with six-banger, about what a 2020 Corolla weighs), so 135 horses was tolerable. Plenty of these cars got T-5 5-speed manual transmissions, but this one got the two-pedal setup. Camaro wheels, of course. Our Friend the Carburetor didn't disappear from new cars until the early 1990s in the United States, though electronic fuel injection had become very commonplace by 1987. Still, GM considered this car's EFI worth a door-handle brag. It's not worth fixing up a mashed six-cylinder third-gen Firebird, so we can see the route this car took to its final parking space. Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Junkyard Gem: 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi

Sat, Jun 19 2021

The General's Pontiac Division sold Bonnevilles from 1958 through 2005, which turned out to be well over half of the marque's existence. Named after the Bonneville Salt Flats, some Bonnevilles were huge but pretty quick, others were slow-motion land yachts, and some were nearly indistinguishable from their Buick and Oldsmobile brethren. The final generation, sold for the 2000 through 2005 model years, were among the quickest and most distinctive-looking Bonnevilles ever built, but they arrived in showrooms at a time when the clock was ticking for the division's very survival. Today's Junkyard Gem is one of those cars, an '01 with the hot-rod SSEi package. The Bonneville SSEi first appeared in the 1992 model year, just a year after the Buick Park Avenue Ultra was the first of many GM cars to get the 3.8-liter Buick V6 with an Eaton supercharger bolted on top. Production of the Bonneville SSEi continued through the 2003 model year, after which the GXP version and its Cadillac Northstar V8 took over. The 2001 version of this engine made 240 horsepower, good for plenty of torque-steery fun. Could you get this car with a manual transmission? What do you think? Some cursory research indicates that 1970 was the last model year for a three-pedal Bonneville, and even those cars must be incredibly rare. This one looks to have been in nice shape when it arrived here, with the original manuals still in the glovebox. By 2006, the Bonneville was gone; four years later, Pontiac was gone.
