GREAT Car! *NO RESERVE*Sacrifice*Mechanics Special*02 Grand Am SE1 4Dr
"Love car
but have 2 sell. Mechanics Special. Easy fixes for car buffs - Not too
expensive for layperson." PONTIAC GRAND AM
SE1 4 DOOR SEDAN 2002 POWERFUL RIDE
& FULLY LOADED WITH CLEAR TITLE! Selling at a sacrifice with No Reserve. I love this car and planned to
work on it to keep it up, but time got away from me before we moved into a
2-car park situation with 3 cars. Would love to see the right buyer give the
TLC that I've given on this car since original purchase. features: * Only ONE private OWNER. * Car runs great with EXCELLENT PICKUP. * QUIET motor
with smooth ride and comfortable interior. * HANDLES very
WELL, smooth turns, easy to drive. * 4 Doors with
POWER locks & windows. * Power MOONROOF. * Fog Lamps. * Rear SPOILER. * LOADED w/ Power
Everything. * NICE STEREO
system w/ Six (6) Speakers, CD & Tape player in dash, MP3 Jack. Upgraded. * PLUSH Interior
very good condition - NEVER SMOKED IN, NO KIDS, NO PETS! * Front brakes
are recent. * Metallic Silver
paint exterior good condition. * Tires have some
life left in them, with a spare included in trunk. * Includes Spare
keys and 2 factory keyfob remotes. * Includes 3rd
party alarm w/ remote. * Includes
ORIGINAL MANUALS. * Includes CLEAR
TITLE TRANSFER FROM ORIGINAL BUYER. After having a
mechanic look at it I know the right buyer may have all issues remedied
reasonably. No longer my
primary car, but I drive it weekly and it runs smooth. All fixable issues
for the right buyer. issues: * Carpet looks
great considering car's age. Does show minor spots here & there. * Paint exterior
good condition except for fading on rear bumper not visble in pix, minor dings,
minimal shallow scratches except for one small 1-inch long deep scratch on hood
on driver side. * Known repairs
this car will probably need to have addressed by the new buyer: Currently has
steering fluid leak, not major but will need to have it looked at. Power locks
operate with key remote only - not buttons. There is a battery draining issue
which may relate to the lock buttons. I'm not able to spend any extra money to
pinpoint diagnose the drain issue since I am not a mechanic. Due to this issue,
I disconnect it unless I am taking the car for its weekly drive around the
neighborhood. Recently moved to NV from CA and found out that due to
unhooking the battery, it reset computer and would not communicate diagnostic
history to smog check computer so I have not gotten NV smog done. Did pass its
last smog in CA.” *** I am not a
car dealer so please note this is an "AS IS SALE" *** No warranty
nor return policy as this vehicle will be sold directly by private owner. Shipping to out
of state buyers will be at buyers cost. Thanks for your
interest & Happy bidding! |

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT
Fri, 10 Oct 2014The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.
Watch as Hot Rod goes from El Paso to LA the hard way
Tue, 21 Feb 2012There are few things simultaneously more romantic and idiotic than taking a road trip in a beaten-down heap of a car. Trust us. We know. David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan of Hot Rod Magazine fame recently undertook an epic trip from El Paso, Texas to Los Angeles with the express goal of doing so for under $1,500, including the purchase price of a vehicle, food, lodging, repairs and, most importantly, fuel. With this in mind, the duo settled on a 1972 Pontiac Catalina for a lofty $650. Hilarity ensues.
Realizing that no one actually wants a Catalina sulking around the shop, Freiburger and Finnegan put the car up for auction on eBay Motors the instant they had the title in hand. By the time they rolled into Hot Rod HQ, the vehicle sold for a little over $500.
The video is part of a new series called Roadkill that should document similar adventures. Keep your eyes peeled for more calamity-soaked clips in the near future. In the meantime, hit the jump to check it out yourself.
