Hello, up for sale is a very rare 4-SPEED 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula 400. I honestly haven't owned this too long. When my son and I saw it with a FOR SALE sign on the side of a backwoods road (Boring, Oregon) we just had to stop out of curiosity. Expecting to see an automatic, our jaws dropped when we saw that it was a 4-SPEED. I personally haven't seen one probably since the 80's. I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT! I would love to restore it, but just don't have the time. Not a money issue, but just a time issue is all. Anyways, I could keep going on and on listing things about it but you really must see it to appreciate just how cool it is. ALL TRADES WELCOME YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER DEAL FOR A 4-SPEED! DETAILS: • Miles: Odometer shows 19,125 "works," but most likely 119,000. • VIN #: 2U87T3N141865 • Engine: Slightly built Chevy 350 small block. - Not original matching numbers. - Runs and drives, (see YouTube video link.) • Transmission: 4-SPEED MANUAL (Shifts great through all 4 gears and not sloppy at all.) • Drivetrains: RWD CONDITION:
• Exterior: Black, needs paint. - One dent on front fender, but not too bad. - Has extremely small amount of rust. • Interior: Grey carpet and the rest of the interior is black. - Carpet and seats are new. Personally, I'd rather have black carpet. FOR YOUR INFORMATION:

GM expands headlight recall to 180k Buicks and Pontiacs
Thu, Aug 20 2015General Motors is issuing an expanded headlight module recall to include 180,504 examples in North America of the 2005 Buick LaCrosse (2008 model year pictured above) and 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. Specifically, the campaign affects 159,584 of them in the US and 20,920 in Canada. When the part fails, the vehicles' low beams can stop working either intermittently or permanently. "GM is unable to confirm any crashes, injuries or fatalities related to this condition," the company said in a statement, and there's currently no permanent repair for the problem. For now, dealers will replace the headlamp module with a new example of the same part. The automaker first announced this campaign in November 2014 when it affected 316,357 examples globally of the 2006-09 Buick LaCrosse; 2006-2007 Chevy TrailBlazer and TrailBlazer EXT; 2006-2007 GMC Envoy and 2006 GMC Envoy XL; 2006-2007 Buick Rainier; 2006-2008 Saab 9-7X; and 2006-08 Isuzu Ascender. Mon, 01 Aug 2011For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. Florida man runs down bikers in traffic
Tue, May 31 2016A Florida biker and his passenger got a nasty surprise when a road rage incident turned ugly on Monday. According to WTSP, Joe Calderazzo was returning from a Veterans Memorial Day motorcycle rally around 5:30 pm with a group of fellow riders. During their ride, the group got entangled with an overly aggressive driver in a Pontiac. Abe Garcia of Tampa watched the silver Pontiac attempt to run the pack of bikers off the road, which started the altercation. The bikers caught up to the Pontiac in stopped traffic, and a shouting match ensued between the bikers and the Pontiac driver. At this point, Garcia pulled out his phone and started recording. The exchange escalated, and suddenly the Pontiac driver floored it, turned hard to the right, and ran over Calderazzo's Harley. The Pontiac mangled the Harley and knocked Calderazzo and his passenger to the ground. The Pontiac then fled the scene. WTSP spoke to Calderazzo as he was on his way to the hospital. "I thought the guy was trying to kill us obviously," said Calderazzo. "You know you don't know what's going through your mind. Is he going to put the car in reverse? Is he going to turn around? Is he going to stop and pull out a gun? You don't know what's going on." The Pontiac driver, a serial traffic offender named Robert Paul Vance, was picked up by police soon after the incident. He is charged with hit-and-run, a moving traffic violation, and aggravated battery.
