Up for auction in a near perfect 1984 Pontiac Fiero Indy Pace Car with an original 5778 miles only! This car is number 410 of only 2000 Indy's produced. It has a manual 4 speed transmission and 2.5 litre 4 cylinder (Iron Duke) motor. The interior is near perfect with very minor blemishes as would be expected of a 30 year old car. The exterior is near perfect with a few paint chips in the common areas. Since this car has very few miles and almost no use over the last 30 years, it will require some mechanical work to bring it back up to perfect.....the engine runs but will need a tune up, the brakes work well but should be looked at, the tires have no wear but are several years old and may be dry.....This car will be a true show winner time after time with very little TLC from it's new owner! The car is located in the province of Ontario, Canada, but is still titled in the state ok KY. I haven't had the time to transfer it since purchasing last spring. I can deliver at an additional cost if required. Since this vehicle is originally from the U.S.A. there is absolutely no problem to bring it back and there are no duties to be paid!!! I have a new project now and require to sell for funding. Bid with confidence....you won't be let down. Ask as many questions as you like and I will answer them. I have included several photo's....please ask for more if required. You will not find any rust on this vehicle's exterior nor will you find any on it's space frame. Thanks for looking and happy bidding to all!

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
Distracted driver crosses center line and hits police car
Wed, Apr 6 2016Attentive driving and quick reflexes saved the life of a police officer in Hudson, WI, when an oncoming driver drifted into the officer's lane and struck his cruiser. According to KMSP, the officer was patrolling along a busy road through Hudson on March 31 when the crash occurred. Dash cam video from the patrol car which was released to local media shows the dramatic collision unfold. As the officer came around a mild left-hand curve, a white, 90s-era Pontiac Grand Am continued straight through the curve, across the center line, and directly into the officer's path. The officer was able to avoid a head-on collision, but the Pontiac still struck the driver's side of the patrol car. "Both the officer and the other driver are ok, however, this accident could have been much, much worse," said a Hudson Police Department official on the department's Facebook page. "So please remember to pay attention to your driving at all times when behind the wheel." Minnesota's Department of Public Safety estimates that one in every four crashes in the State of Minnesota are caused by distracted drivers. DPS believes that the actual number may be higher, but police often have difficulty proving distracted driving as the cause of a crash. Government/Legal Pontiac Driving Safety Coupe Police/Emergency
Sell Your Own: 2006 Pontiac GTO

Quickly create listings with up to six photos and reach millions of buyers. Log in and create your free listings. In the early '60s, Baby Boomers born immediately after World War II were beginning to buy cars and enjoy their own distinctive music. This wasn't yet the drug culture; rather, it was the drag culture, more Jan and Dean "Dead Man's Curve" than Beatles "Lucy In The Sky." And a Baby Boomer's desired ride, more often than not, was Pontiac's GTO. Introduced as a manned-up option for Pontiac's compact Tempest, the early GTO was 389 cubic inches of romp and stomp. And with a marketing campaign that hit Middle America via what it watched and ate (TV ads and cereal-box promos were a big part of the GTO launch), there was no escaping it. Like most performance coupes and convertibles, 10 years later it was became an emasculated version of its once lusty self. And then it was gone. Its revival, championed by General Motors executive Bob Lutz, was not by any stretch the Second Coming. Starting in 2004, GM modified its Australian-built Holden Monaro to approximate the excitement of the original formula: a coupe body propelled by a big V8. But the Holden's sheetmetal was quietly styled, and even the 400 horsepower available by 2006 didn't electrify buyers. With hindsight, the resurrected GTO is enjoying more attention and, slowly but surely, increasing in value. This for-sale example shows well, enjoys low mileage, and is – naturally – priced well above what is perceived to be its market value. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
