No Reserve Auction. 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8L motor Special Edition sedan with 70K original miles only. This car starts fast and drives beautifully. Shifts nicely from gear to gear seamlessly. It has a very efficient motor that does great on city driving. Upto 40 MPG according to Fueleconomy.gov on this 1.8L motor is incredible MPG! This car is a very low maintenance car and is perfect for a student starter car or for a small family. Mechanically this car has performed excellent on a 20 mile test drive. Nothing to report. It does have some cosmetic flaws namely some dents on the front bumper and scratches on the rear bumpers. Please see pics. I have estimated from a local body shop and was told both bumpers can be replaced and repainted for $300. Front bumper only $200. Touch up paint on rear for $50. Other then that it looks clean on the exterior. Interior is black cloth. It does not show any abuse of any kind on the interior. This car has great tires, brakes and battery. Alignment is correct. AC blows ice cold. Heat works nicely. Music system works great. It does not leak any oil or other fluids. Runs and drives perfectly. KBB value is over $7500. On sale locally also for $6999 OBO. 2014 Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid priced from $35,110*
Sat, 26 Oct 2013Nissan has announced pricing for the 2014 Pathfinder Hybrid, which was revealed earlier this year at the 2013 New York Auto Show. Offering two- or all-wheel drive, the hybridized crossover sports a 3.5-liter V6 and a 15-kilowatt electric motor, for a total of 250 system horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque. Those numbers match up well with the 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque put out by the V6-powered Pathfinder. Naturally, fuel economy sees a hefty boost, to 25 miles per gallon in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, bumps of five and two mpg, respectively.
The Pathfinder Hybrid is available in three grades. Prices start at $35,100 for an SV and jump to $38,050 for the mid-level SL. A top-flight Platinum, meanwhile, moves the price up to $42,750. Adding all-wheel drive to the package bumps the price up to $1,600 across the range, and keep in mind that these prices don't include Nissan's $860 destination charge. Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

The handler strapped into the carbon fiber race bucket next to me is the only other person outside of yours truly who looks like he thinks this is a bad idea. I've just finished situating myself in the cabin of the very first Nissan Juke-R ever constructed. There are literally thousands of man hours in this single prototype and only four examples of the car total in the entire world. Each one carries a price tag of around $656,400 at current conversion rates, making this both the rarest and most expensive piece of machinery anyone has ever let me get close enough to sniff, let alone drive.
And that's exactly what I mean to do.
