Vehicle Description 2012 Nissan Armada Platinum Edition Only 1,700 Miles / 1 Owner 4X4 / 5.6 Liter V8 / 317 Horsepower Loaded with every option available Mike's Place is proud to offer this 2012 Nissan Armada Platinum Edition. The MSRP on this vehicle was over $55,000. Here is your chance to own this SUV for a lot less. The Carfax vehicle history report shows the mileage as accurate. The title is 100% free and clear. This Platinum Edition 4X4 truck is loaded with every option available on an Armada. The Carfax on this truck shows that on 10/30/12, with only 5 miles on this vehicle, it was declared a total loss, in a Non-Collision incident, and no other details. We purchased this truck directly from another Dealer and did not get a chance to meet the previous owners. Besides what the Carfax report says, we have absolutely no idea as to the severity of damage. This truck as a result was issued a "SALVAGE TITLE". The exterior of the truck is Gray, and is absolutely flawless! The body is straight and has NO scratches or dents. Please check out the pictures to see condition of rims and tires. All the glass is in good shape with no chips/cracks. This SUV drives sweet! The engine runs strong with no smoke or funny noises and the transmission shifts nicely. This would make a great daily driver. This is as close to a NEW truck as you're going to find. The interior is in really nice condition, and still has it's new car smell. The leather seats look like brand new. Both power seats function properly. The dash is in great condition. All the gauges seem to function properly and the digital display looks great. There are no check engine light or warning lights on of any kind. I tried all the buttons located on the dash and door panels and everything seemed to function properly. The air conditioning blows cold and the heater works. The door panels are all in great shape and all the power windows work properly. The radio works great and the speakers sound awesome. Nissan NV200 Chicago Taxi looking for a #HailYes
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Nissan may be loaning out its small van to General Motors for its Chicago Auto Show debut, but that doesn't mean that Chevrolet is the only one with new NV200-based wares to share. On the heels of launching its Taxi Of Tomorrow for New York City, the Japanese automaker is giving America's Second City a livery of its own.
Shown here in a green and white paint scheme that "expresses a modern take on a historically popular Chicago taxi color," this NV200 Chicago Taxi is the company's less-than-subtle bid to capture some of the city's cab business, which is estimated to have about 7,000 units in service. Nissan is urging the public to generate discussion on social media and hopefully capture local taxi fleet operators' attention with a #HailYes campaign.
Beyond its unique appearance, this NV200 appears untouched, which means it's still powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine backed by a version of Nissan's ubiquitous XTronic continuously variable transmission.
Man sells testicle to buy Nissan 370Z
Wed, 27 Nov 2013We aren't entirely sure what's stranger about this story - that a man actually sold a vital piece of his manhood for a car, or that he did it for a Nissan 370Z. That's not to discredit the trusty Fairlady, a car we generally like, but that if we were to do what Mark Parisi did and sell one of his testicles to science, we'd be asking for a helluva lot more than $35,000.
But Parisi did just that, and announced live on CBS' The Doctors (we really can't make this up) that the sale of his nut would go towards the purchase of a Z. According to our friends Down Under (Australia, get your mind out of the gutter), $35K is the going rate for one slightly used testicle, so if you get nothing else from this story, gentlemen, know that you have $70,000 swinging between your legs.
Nissan Resonance Concept gives glimpse of next Murano
Tue, 15 Jan 2013The Nissan Resonance Concept has bowed at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, giving the world a glimpse at the company's future design direction for crossovers. Specifically, the concept heralds what the next-generation Murano may look like once it touches down. Nissan has already confirmed the successor to the big crossover's throne will be produced in Mississippi for the first time. With a "floating" roof and dynamic head lamp arrays, the Resonance boasts a far more athletic appearance than the snub-nosed current generation. Inside, designers worked up a cockpit aimed at conveying what "the future of first-class space travel might be."
Nissan isn't saying what the upcoming Murano will have under the hood, but the Resonance boasts an all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain with a small-displacement internal combustion engine and an electric motor. A lithium-ion battery delivers power while a CVT takes care of putting power to the wheels. Take a look at the full press release below for more information.
