Condition:
Vehicle titles are clear of all liens. All pictures also are used as internal documentation and physical descriptions of the vehicle, so buyers should examine the pictures closely and assume nothing. All vehicles show minor wear and bare small imperfections that distinguish them from new vehicles. Vehicles are not fully tested or inspected due to the cost of diagnostic equipment, the size of the facilities and the number and variety of items in stock. Vehicles are tested using the best resources available, and any issues or abnormal test results are stated in listing. Buyer inspections are welcomed and encouraged before bidding or use of the Buy It Now option. All used vehicles are sold AS-IS without a warranty, expressed written or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any imperfections, defects, damages, or incorrect descriptions. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. The buyer is responsible for the thorough inspection of the vehicle and determining a bid solely based on that inspection and assessment of the condition and value of the vehicle. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with the vehicle at the request of the buyer before the auction ends or the Buy It Now option is used. Vehicle accessories (extra keys, key fobs, manuals, etc.) are not guaranteed to be included in the transaction. Payment Methods:
Due to an increased number of zero and negative feedback buyers claiming a lack of understanding of the eBay process, all zero or negative feedback buyers on eBay Motors are required to state and verify their intentions. All zero or negative feedback buyers on eBay Motors must use the eBay Contact Seller option to send a contact name, phone number and statement that the eBay process is understood. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation and blocking of bids. Please understand that verification helps to protect the integrity of the auction and Buy It Now option.

All buyers are required to make a $250.00 non-refundable deposit and payment arrangements within the 24 hours following the end of the auction or the use of the Buy It Now option. All deposits are non-refundable. Paypal is the ONLY payment method currently accepted for the deposit. PayPal allows the selection of a funding source for any transaction. Transactions with funding sources attached to credit cards are more expensive to process through PayPal than transactions with funding sources attached to checking accounts. Using a funding source attached to a checking account helps to keep prices low. Please pay promptly after winning the auction or using the Buy It Now option. Prompt payments are greatly appreciated.

Buyers are not charged local taxes or title and registration fees, unless the buyer requires temporary tags. Nissan ex-Chairman Carlos Ghosn wins release from jail

Tue, Mar 5 2019

TOKYO — The Tokyo District Court approved the release of former Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn on bail of 1 billion yen ($8.9 million) on Tuesday, although the end of his four months of detention in Japan was delayed when prosecutors appealed that decision. Prosecutors filed their objection to Ghosn's release within hours of the announcement he was going to be granted bail. But their appeal was rejected by the court, paving the way for his release. A lawyer for Ghosn said he would not be able to leave the Tokyo Detention Center until Wednesday at the earliest, because bail procedures can't be done at night. The acceptance of Ghosn's request for bail, his third, came a day after the lawyer, Junichiro Hironaka, said he was confident the auto executive would gain his release. Hironaka, who recently joined Ghosn's defense team, is famous for winning acquittals in Japan, a nation where the conviction rate is 99 percent. Hironaka said Monday that he had offered new ways to monitor Ghosn after his release, such as camera surveillance. Hironaka also questioned the grounds for Ghosn's arrest, calling the case "very peculiar," and suggesting it could have been dealt with as an internal company matter. He welcomed the decision, telling reporters: "It was good we proposed concrete ways showing how he would not tamper with evidence or try to flee." The 1 billion yen bail set by the court was relatively high but not the highest ever in Japan. Among the conditions for Ghosn's release were restrictions on where he can live, a ban on foreign travel and other promises not to tamper with evidence or try to flee, the court said. The former head of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Motors alliance has been detained since he was arrested on Nov. 19. He says he is innocent of charges of falsifying financial information and of breach of trust. In Japan, suspects are routinely detained for months, often until their trials start. That's especially true of those who insist on their innocence. Prosecutors say suspects may tamper with evidence and shouldn't be released. Two previous requests submitted by his legal team were denied. His previous defense lawyer, Motonari Ohtsuru, had said Ghosn's release might not come for months. Hironaka is among many critics of the Japanese justice system who say such lengthy detentions of suspects are unfair.

Nissan bringing GT-R LM Nismo to Le Mans in 2015 [w/videos]

Fri, 23 May 2014

The Nissan Zeod RC hybrid racecar is certainly cool with its pointy looks, we're excited to see it run, but it isn't built to win races so much as push boundaries. But we might not have too to wait long for one of the Japanese brand's vehicles to claim an overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, as well. The company is announcing the GT-R LM Nismo racecar with a two-car, full factory effort in the top LMP1 class of the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship, including Le Mans.
Details about the new racer are almost nonexistent at the moment. The only glimpses that we have are its silhouette under a sheet (above) and the briefest peek at its quad circular taillights in one of the teaser videos. However, the team is making some big promises about the car. "We want to win in a very different way to that of our rivals. We won't be turning up in a vehicle, which is a basically another hybrid that looks like another Porsche, Audi or Toyota - they all look the same to me," said Nissan's Chief Planning Officer and Executive Vice President Andy Palmer in the official announcement. Mechanically, Nissan is revealing even less about the GT-R LM Nismo for now. We are just going to have to wait and find out.
The brand will be aiming for a win in the 24-hour race, but it won't come easy. Nissan will absolutely face stiff competition from the combined forces of Audi, Porsche and Toyota in the top LMP1 class. Scroll down to watch two teaser videos for the newest member of the GT-R family and read the full announcement.

Nissan will expand free* charging incentive to 25 Leaf markets

Wed, Apr 16 2014

Nissan has proof that giving away a bit of electricity makes buying a new Leaf all the more enticing. Thanks to a deal that offers free charging to some Leaf owners in Texas, one dealer there claims his Leaf sales have tripled. We don't see national sales climbing quite that high starting July 1 2014, but an announcement made today at the New York Auto Show will likely give the EV a boost. New Leaf buyers will get to charge for free at public chargers for two years. Within limits: a max of 30 minutes at CHAdeMO and an hour at Level 2 stations. Nissan will expand its "No Charge to Charge" promotion to at least 25 markets across the US. The deal means that new Leaf buyers will get to charge for free at public chargers that accept the new EZ-Charge card, within limits. That means a maximum of 30 minutes at CHAdeMO DC fast chargers and just one hour at Level 2 stations, Brendan Jones, director of Nissan EV infrastructure strategy and development, told AutoblogGreen. This should be plenty of time, Jones said, since the average Leaf driver comes to a CHAdeMO station with 35-40 percent state-of-charge on the battery and the average time they stay is around 16-17 minutes. A half hour is fine at a fast charger, since the battery will get to 80 percent full within that time, but we're less impressed with the one-hour limit at a Level 2 station, since that will only put maybe 20 miles into the battery. The EZ-Charge card is compatible with four of "the leading EV charging networks," which here means ChargePoint, Blink, AeroVironment and NRG eVgo. Nissan says the 25 markets make up over 80 percent of all the US Leaf sales. Anyone who buys a new Leaf in one of the specified markets - or bought one on or after April 1 of this year - will get the free-to-use EZ-Charge card (others can still get the card, which means only carrying one charger company fob instead of four). The promotion starts July 1 in 10 markets (San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Nashville, Phoenix, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Washington, DC) and then expands to the next 15 by the end of June, 2015. Nissan would not specify which markets these will be, but they will be where the Leaf is selling well and there are DC fast chargers. That means, we suspect, places like Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Atlanta.
