There is a comprehensive walkaround video for this car on our website www.infinitiofkirkland.com that is much more thorough than be be accomplished with a still camera.

6000 miles and eye-popping good looks.  There are plenty of 370Z's out there but the wheels just set this one ON FIRE!  It is absolutely GORGEOUS!  The Carfax is perfect and is available for free on our website or I would be happy to fax a copy to your office.  This car has never been smoked in, the tires look like they were installed yesterday and the exterior would pass for showroom new.  We still have to service the vehicle regardless of condition or miles and I would be happy to send you a signed copy of the inspection results, they are VERY thorough.

I truly sympathize with the plight of the internet shopper, it seems as if the car business has turned in many ways into a dog eat dog combat between dealers trying to find novel ways to get one over on customers and customers trying hold their cards close to the vest so as to not pay one dime too much to the dealer.  I get both sides but that is not at all what Infiniti of Kirkland is about.  We bought this car at auction in California from a factory sale and it just arrived here 2 days before this ad broke.  I don't have my own copy of the shop report yet, but it is important to me that you get brake and tire measurements plus any "yellow alert" issues that might become problems down the road.  This car has never been smoked in, there are no odors of any kind and believe me, I would tell you if there were.  The video covers this as well as several other things that buyers often forget to ask.

I have run the pre-owned center at Infiniti of Kirkland for 10 years and have sold cars in Seattle for 16 years.  Last year I sold my 10,000th car and I promised that I would hit 20,000 before I turn 50.  I don't have time to waste your time.  If you want to know if the tires are loud, I will drive and on any kind of road you tell me to and we will find out.  If you want pictures of the undercarriage or a video that addresses specific issues, or perhaps you would like to speak with the factory authorized technician who worked or your soon to be new car, or even the head of the service department, it's a done deal.  If you have questions about financing, I am here to answer them, if you have questions about extended warranties that make the most sense where YOU live, I will get the answers for you. If you want prices on enclosed transport or lowest-price transport, wherever you live, you're an e-mail away from the answer.  Or just call me at 425.894.8230.  Put me to work and let's get you behind the wheel of this traffic-stopping knockout!

Nissan's autonomous cars could drive in US first, maybe by 2020

Fri, Jan 24 2014

Future shock could be just six short years away, and coming first to the US. Nissan says it might start making autonomous versions of its cars available in the US by 2020, before the tech hits the road in other countries. The Japanese automaker is in extensive discussions with regulators from California, the best-selling state for the Leaf battery-electric vehicle, for allowing self-driving vehicles to be on its roads, Hybrid Cars says, citing a conversation with Nissan executive Andy Christensen at the recent Detroit Auto Show. Many decisions need to be made between now and then, given the hurdles related to issues such as regulations, liability, safety and technology - and Christensen said the first wave of self-driving vehicles would be able to do their thing only on the highway. The vehicle of choice is most likely to be the Leaf because it's completely battery operated, making the conversion to autonomy that much easier. Last summer, Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn first promised production autonomous cars by 2020. The automaker has teamed up with MIT, Stanford, Oxford and others to extensively test its "Autonomous Drive" concepts since then. Late last year, Nissan tested a self-driving Leaf on Japanese public roads. Nissan is not alone promoting autonomous driving as a way to increase safety, fuel economy and traffic flow, just some of the reasons why the idea may be the wave of the nearer-than-we-thought-future. For example, the company says 93 percent of accidents are caused by driver error.

Car technology I'm thankful and unthankful for

Mon, Nov 27 2017

The past few years have seen a surge of tech features in new vehicles — everything from cloud-based content to semi-autonomous driving. While some of it makes the driving experience better, not all tech is useful or well thought out. Automakers who are adept at drivetrains, ride quality and in-cabin comforts often fail at infotainment interfaces and connectivity. From testing dozens of vehicles each year and in the spirit of gratitude, here are three car tech features I'm thankful — and a trio I could live without. Thanks Connected search: This seems like a no-brainer since everyone already has it on their smartphones, but not all automakers include it in the dashboard and as part of their nav systems. The best ones, such as Toyota Entune, leverage a driver's connected device to search for a range of services and don't charge a subscription or require a separate data plan for the car. I also like how systems like Chrysler Uconnect use Yelp or other apps to find everything from coffee to gas stations and allow searching via voice recognition. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: It took two of the largest tech companies to get in-dash infotainment right. While they have their disadvantages (you're forced to use Apple Maps with CarPlay, for example), the two smartphone-integration platforms make it easier and safer to use their respective native apps for phoning, messaging, music and more behind the wheel by transferring a familiar UI to the dashboard — with no subscription required. Heated seats and steering wheels: I really appreciate these simple but pleasant features come wintertime. It's easy to get spoiled by bun-warmers on frosty mornings and using a heated steering wheel to warm the cold hands. I recently tested a 2018 Mercedes-Benz E400 Coupe that also had heated armrest that added to a cozy luxury experience. Bonus points for brands like Buick that allow setting seat heaters to turn on when the engine is remotely started. No thanks Automaker infotainment systems: Automakers have probably poured millions into creating their own infotainment systems, with the result largely being frustration on the part of most car owners. And Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming along to make them obsolete. While some automaker systems, such as Toyota Entune and FCA's Uconnect, are easy and intuitive to use, it seems that high-end systems (I'm looking at you BMW iDrive and Mercedes-Benz COMAND) are the most difficult.

Nissan teases next-gen Titan in 'Truckumentary'

Wed, Nov 26 2014

The Nissan Titan has grown long in the tooth over its decade on the market, especially against major competitors on the truck scene like the latest Ford F-150. Not for long, though, because the next-generation Titan is expected to debut at the upcoming auto show in Detroit in January. Ahead of that big unveiling, the Japanese brand is launching what it calls the Nissan Titan Truckumentary, a series of videos delving into what it takes to engineer a fullsize pickup. The first teaser clip is already online and shows the next-gen Titan wearing camouflage amidst engineering snippets. Hopefully, future releases starting in mid-December will give an even better look. Until now, Nissan has kept Titan development a guarded secret, but it did reveal that a 5.0-liter diesel V8 from Cummins with claims of over-300 horsepower and around 550 pound-feet of torque will be part of the powertrain range. The truck was has also been rumored to offer a wider range of models than before, including the possibility of a regular cab version and a V6 engine option. Earlier spy shots have given an even clearer view than this video, showing a pickup with headlights pushed out to the corners. Check out the video above to hear what Nissan engineers have to say about developing the new Titan, and read below for the automaker's announcement of the Truckumentary series. "Nissan Titan Truckumentary" tells story of next-generation pickup truck development NASHVILLE, Tenn. – To celebrate the launch of the next-generation Titan, Nissan will be telling the story of its upcoming full-size pickup's development via a series of short videos under the "Nissan Titan Truckumentary" banner. A teaser of this video series was issued today along with an introductory letter to the series from Nissan North America's Director of Product Planning for trucks and SUVs and Chief Product Specialist for the next-generation Titan, Rich Miller. "The 'Truckumentary' is not meant to be the all-encompassing last word on Titan," said Miller. "Rather it's the continuing story of the vehicle's evolution, accompanied by a close look at the American-based team that is bringing this all-new truck to market." The series will launch in mid-December with more than a dozen videos coming throughout the next calendar year.
