The 300ZX has always been a Nevada car. Never drove in the snow, and had the best of care. I bought the 300ZX from a collector in Reno, NV. prior to moving to Nampa. Our plans do not enclude our little Jem. We bought land up in Northern Idaho and she will not go where we go, thus why we are letting her go.
1991 Nissan 300 ZX, all options, including glass T-top. Needs nothing. Again, a Nevada car all it's life untl last October (2012) with NO rust. The 300zx is "Nissan Quality" and a great investment and a fun, dependable and low maintainance car, especially if for your daughter or wife. Silver with black interior. Newer tires and master cylinder. Well cared for and simply lovely.

Can a car be lifted using rubber bands?
Sat, 19 Jan 2013It's quite amazing what it takes to lift a car. We already know the feat can be accomplished using just a pair of phone books, but what about rubber bands? To the Internet! A video series appropriately titled "Will It Lift" attempted to find out by using a massive crane and a Nissan Micra weighing less than 1,800 pounds.
Doing a little math, the trio determined that it would take 180 rubber bands to support the car. A metal bar was placed through the window openings and another was place atop the car, and then attached together using the rubber bands and hooked to the crane. Now these aren't any special rubber bands or anything. They're just eight-millimeters thick, but the stunt is testing the rubber bands' power in numbers.

Nissan's Dacia Duster-based Terrano revealed
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The new Nissan Terrano has appeared in production form after an apparent August 20 launch in India, but the small sport utility vehicle remains sadly aloof from the US market. We've had our eyes on the Terrano ever since we learned it would be produced as an upscale alternative to the Dacia Duster on which it's based, but currently Nissan has no plans to import it here. Blame safety and perhaps emissions laws - the Duster was never designed for our market.
Even with these less-than-high resolution images, it's clear that the beyond the obvious badges, Nissan's signature trapezoidal grille and a slightly altered rear end with new taillights are the biggest visual clues that this is the Terrano, but those with astute eyes will also notice a slightly redesigned hood and blacked-out door pillars instead of the Duster's body-colored items. Either way, it looks to be a handsome, low-cost little brute - the sort of simple and rugged SUV that's hard to come by in today's marketplace.
Nissan GT-R goes 183 mph on ice in Russia
Sat, 06 Apr 2013When a pair of Russian pilots wanted to set a local ice-speed record, they chose a stock Nissan GT-R for the task. Roman Rusinov, a Russian race car driver, and Andrey Leontjev, a Russian auto journalist, took Godzilla to Lake Baikal and ran it up to 294.8 kilometers per hour (182.8 miles per hour) across frozen stuff estimated to be 1.4 meters thick.
While the worldwide record of 205.48 mph was set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Supersports Convertible, the mark achieved by Rusinov and Leontjev establishes a new Russian record. Well done, boys. You can watch it all go down in the video below.
