I'm selling my Mercedes Sprinter van. It is the 3/4 ton 2500 model high roof and extended body so it is the largest cargo model available. The van was purchased new by me in Jan. '12 one year ago. I used the vehicle to travel to various motorcycle race events throughout the US. I put all the miles on it with cross-country travel and had the regular service done. I added adjustable air bags to the rear and a heavy-duty hitch with trailer brakes so you can tow any type of trailer easily. I also had the dealer add their interior lighting package, interior puncture-resistant panels, flooring with tracks for tie-downs, etc.
This van is incredibly useful and I am only letting it go because we are not running the same team this year to race.
The van is stock white under the wrap which was applied shortly after it was purchased. Underneath is almost brand new paint that has hardly seen any weather. I haven't removed the wrap yet to preserve the paint since I live in LA and I figured it could get tagged if it's parked anywhere. I can remove the wrap if someone is serious about purchasing it and they don't want it.
Everything works like normal. Interior shows minimal signs of wear. Cargo area shows normal wear. Just performed an oil change at Keyes European in Van Nuys, CA.

Will AMG influence MV Agusta's three new 1,000cc bikes?
Mon, Jul 20 2015Freshly injected with capital from Daimler, Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta is reportedly on the verge of launching a whole array of four-cylinder, one-liter bikes in the near future. We're looking forward to checking them out when they arrive, but we can't help but wonder what influence we might see from the company's new tie-up with AMG. Though MV Agusta's new three-cylinder models have been garnering the lion's share of attention lately, a new range of four-cylinder models has reportedly been confirmed. There's a new F4 superbike on its way, a new Brutale naked street-fighter tipped to follow, and an additional sport-touring variant anticipated to join the lineup as well. A few months ago, MV Agusta released a customer version of its new World Superbike Championship machine, boasting over 200 horsepower in a 386-pound machine. Those specs made us sit up and take notice, especially with AMG logos plastered all over it to mimic the competition version's livery. And that only piqued our interest as to possible future collaborations between the two Daimler properties that could potentially extend far beyond livery. Though AMG has typically dealt with large-displacement engines with eight or twelve cylinders, it has been honing its skills on the smaller four-pot that powers the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 models. And as rival Volkswagen (having scooped up Ducati out from under Benz's nose) has shown with the XL Sport concept, the prospect of slotting the resulting motorcycle engine back into a four-wheeled automobile could prove quite compelling indeed. Mercedes-AMG previews new C63 Coupe ahead of August 19 reveal
Mon, Jul 27 2015Mercedes has been spending the month of July preparing us all of the debut of the new AMG-fettled C-Class coupe. It dropped an enigmatic teaser video on us at the beginning of the month, followed by a handful of teaser images, and another video after that. Now it's released another batch of images to give us a taste of what to expect. These prototype pictured is still heavily camouflaged, so there's little more to tell from them than we already saw from the spy shots we brought you back in April. We can see the front end a bit better, bearing what looks like the same lower air dam as the C63 sedan, but everything save for the front part of the greenhouse is covered up in the swirly stuff. While the photos posted on the Mercedes-Benz Facebook page refer to this as the C63 Coupe, the AMG post references the Mercedes-AMG C-Class Coupe. Either way, we're expecting it to pack the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 as the sedan (as well as the AMG GT), likely to be made available once again in 469- and 503-horsepower states of tune. Affalterbach has also posted a countdown timer on its website, with 23 days left to go until the new muscle coupe makes its debut. So mark your calendars for August 19, and watch this space for more as the German automaker is sure to keep trickling out more photos, videos, and information between now and then. Related Video:
Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles
Mon, 05 Aug 2013The Isdera Imperator 108i is a remarkably rare supercar from the late 80s and early 90s. Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. And rather than just being driven about on a perfectly clean racing line, it's freaking power sliding!
Yes, there's something eternally childlike about a wedge-shaped supercar from our formative years being flung about a Belgian racetrack. Adding to the appeal is the Imperator's stumpy, periscopic rear mirror, sticking out of the roof. Even after being out of production for 20 years, this is still a wild, wild car and we'd happily snap up the opportunity pilot one of the 36 Isderas that were built. Take a look below for the full video from Spa.
