THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION SO DONT MISS THE CHANCE TO OWN THIS VEHICLE!!!!! WOW, WOW, WOW, I have no other way to start this off other then WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Lets start with the Model itself, the S550...If your reading this, you already have done some studies and your homework confirms what you felt all along...This is the most complete vehicle on the road...The flagship of Mercedes Benz.....The curves of the body, the interior room and options the respect you get when your driving, its not all in your mind, this is real! It is that hot, it is that gorgeous and people do judge you for what you drive.....Judging from this luxurious machine you do quite well.....Your neighbors will think your a surgeon, a Judge, a lawyer or even worse, a Dealer.....If you don't want people talking,  this is not the car for you...If you don't like other people looking at your car at red lights and in parking lots, this is not the car for you....If you like the feel of a $100000+ vehicle for a bargain of a price, this is for you...People will look, people will talk and you will be noticed in this Gorgeous, Stylish, Luxurious Sedan....

The color is a stunning Artic Gray Metallic that glistens as if it rolled off the showroom floor. The way it mixes with the black panoramic roof is an instant eye catcher. Wrapped by chrome inserts, a stylish grille, and sitting on 19 inch factory alloy wheels that can also be seen on the S600, this machine is soothing to the eye...The definition of eye candy, this is beautiful......The interior is Dove grey Leather complete with perforated seats, wood grain, high quality carpet and so much space and comfort you feel like your in the First Class Section on an Airplane.....Sitting inside this vehicle and looking at the sky is like therapy in middle of the week.....Its that cheat day when your suppose to be working but your down at the shore feeling that ocean breeze....Oh sooo soothing.....

The ride is a whole different experience...This is unlike anything you have ever driven...The combination of Sport/Luxury is at a whole new level with this vehicle....Dignitaries worldwide choose these as their source of Transportation so I think you understand where im going with this...This vehicle has loads of power and the weight of it makes you feel as if your chauffeuring your self around town...The engine hums and you don't even feel it shift from one gear to the next...The headroom is truly what gives this vehicle a first class feeling. I am around 6'2" and I feel dwarfed in this vehicle.....The back seats have so much leg room your passengers will fight for the back seat..WAIT! maybe you should sit in the back seat and hire a driver, that's how this vehicle feels, like you should be pampered in it...Its a Spa on wheels, a therapist and a vacation all in one.....

Options....HELLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!! I will do my best, but I am guaranteed to miss some of the features, the manuals that come with this vehicle seem like a college course...  Power everything from the Panoramic roof to the floor...The Glass roof has dual power shades that have independent buttons to control them individually...There are two rear vanity mirrors that descend and illuminate, the rearview mirror is  electric chromatic and automatically darkens and lightens depending on the time of day...The seats you sit in are a prize in themselves complete with AC and heat to keep you bottom warm or cool...The most amazing thing about these seats is that they are equipped with DYNAMIC/MASSAGE options....What is that you ask? Well, for one thing I took a picture so that you can see in my photos but its an option that pretty much sums up how amazing this vehicle is...When activated, the seat automatically shifts against the opposite side of you body giving you a total control feeling, I was shocked the first time I felt it...Secondly, it has four different settings for the type of massage you want while you drive......Hello! I've only been talking about the seats and I haven't even mentioned they move into countless positions as shown in the picture of the door panel with the seat control..

NIGHT VISION, another awesome feature...leave it to the Germans to cover all safety features, even in the most horrible weather conditions your vision will not be impaired, just one touch of the button and you get Military grade night vision so you can maneuver this vehicle...BI XENON MULTI DIRECTIONAL HEADLIGHTS, they actually turn when you turn your steering wheel....PARK/DISTRONIC assist to aid you when pulling in or backing out of a parking spot or your garage....KEYLESS START/ENTRY, no need to pull out your key each time, just reach for the door and it unlocks, it also starts with the push of a button...NAVIGATION/GPS no worries about getting lost anymore, these vehicles have one of the most hi-tech GPS systems designed for mankind...Bluetooth, onboard phone, CD, cruise, handsfree voice command, tilt, adjustable Nav screen, POWER REAR and SIDE SHADE CURTAINS for optimal passenger comfort, especially if you have an infant onboard...Everything about this vehicle screams over the top and this is your chance to bid on one with a no reserve auction.....Even the trunk is one touch...the doors are fully equipped with close assist...This is the total package, I don't think they make one with more options.............

Safety. lets just say your surrounded by airbags and the braking system is about as technical as you can buy...I wont bore you with every little detail. You're educated and that's why your viewing this vehicle.....The tires are around 55% so there's no need to rush out and buy new tires...I just did a mobile 1 fully synthetic oil service at 83500 miles so you have another 4000 miles before another one is due...the very bottom of the bumper underneath the vehicle has a one inch crack that you cant see unless you underneath the car, probably from a parking block but again, unless your under the car you cant see it...its very common.....overall the body is in excellent shape and looks as good in person as it does in the pictures..passenger front rim has some curbing from parking that you can see when you get down on your hands and knees, floor mats are original so they do show some wear and one of the rear mats are missing...all books and manuals are present as well as the jack and tool kit....The vehicle is in gorgeous condition but it does have 85k miles on it so please don't expect brand new...again its gorgeous..Its a one owner vehicle that has years of driving left so don't miss this chance to purchase this on a no reserve sale....Autocheck shows one minor accident and I have enclosed a photo so that you may see how minor it was, the bumper was cracked in that area so it was peeled  off and photographed the area so that my bidders could see how minor it was...it was basically remove and replace items in view, nothing more... ...I changed the bumper cover, headlight and foglight and side marker light on the passenger side, the only thing that needed repainting was the bumper cover but that should be expected anyway with 85k miles.....I hope I have answered any questions you may have if not please call.....Many of my auctions end early due to the fact that I am a licensed dealer.....If you have any questions, please call me at 3137781761.....Thank you and happy bidding

Mercedes-Benz Concept GLA gets official ahead of Shanghai

Thu, 18 Apr 2013

Mercedes-Benz has something special planned for the Shanghai Motor Show - a new CUV concept that we first saw when it leaked on the internet yesterday. The GLA Concept compact crossover will hit the show stand with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive, and likely previews a new production model that we've already spotted testing.
That's not news, but the laser-based headlamps with video-projecting capability certainly are. Mercedes-Benz says the array can project any image or video onto a screen, which is handy since there are a pair of HD cameras mounted to the roof rack. The cameras can be removed and taken with you on all sorts of adventures. The lamps also feature a visible cooling system comprised of a series of fans, and the system helps give the headlights their "sparkle" effect.
Step indoors and the GLA offers up the interior of a high-quality crossover, complete with contrasting leather and plenty of aluminum. The automaker says the cabin was inspired by saddle craftsmanship with "more than 65 feet of hand-stitched seams to hold the raw edges of the leather together."

Maybach lost upwards of $500k on each vehicle sold

Wed, 08 Feb 2012

Daimler is shuttering Maybach in 2013 after seven years of production. In that time, the company's ultra-ultra-luxury arm managed to sell just 3,000 units, and CAR reports Daimler lost somewhere around $500,000 on each and every one of them.
Even with a ludicrous price tag of over $370,000 for an "entry" Maybach 57, the brand couldn't quite recoup the dizzying $1.33 billion Daimler poured into it since its (re)inception. Rumors ignited over a possible tie up with Aston Martin that would have resulted in a range of new and attractive models, but Daimler has instead decided to snuff out Maybach altogether.
We can hardly blame them.

Ecclestone wonders if F1's upcoming turbo V6s should get augmented sound [w/videos]

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

While every team on the Formula One grid is worried about making a good showing in this year's championship at the same time as they develop a brand-new car for next year's championship, Bernie Ecclestone and F1 circuit promoters have a different concern: how next year's cars will sound. The current cars use 2.4-liter, naturally-aspirated V8s that can reach 18,000 revolutions per minute and employ dual exhaust, next year's engine formula calls for 1.4-liter turbocharged V6s that are capped at 15,000 rpm and are constrained to a single exhaust outlet. Ecclestone and promoters like Ron Walker believe the new engines sound like lawnmowers and that the less thrilling audio will keep people from coming to races. If Walker's Australian Grand Prix really is shelling out almost $57 million to hold the race, every ticket counts. As a fix, according to a report in Autoweek, Ecclestone "suggests that the only way to guarantee [a good sound] may be to artificially adjust the tone of the V6s."
However, neither the manufacturers nor the governing body of F1, the FIA, think there will be a problem. Ecclestone fears that if the manufacturers "don't get it right" they'll simply leave the sport, but the only three carmakers and engine builders left next year, Renault (its 2014 "power unit" is pictured), Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari are so embedded that it would stretch belief to think they'd leave the table over an audio hiccup - if said hiccup even occurs. And frankly, these issues always precede changes to engine formulas, as they did when the formula switched from V10 to V8; fans, though, are probably less focused on the engines and more on the mandated standardization of the sport and the spec-series overtones that have come with it.
No one knows yet what next year's engines will sound like, but we've assembled a few videos below to help us all start guessing. The first is an engine check on an Eighties-era John Player Special Renault with a 1.5-liter V6 turbo, after that is Ayrton Senna qualifying in 1986 in the Lotus 98T that also had a 1.5-liter V6 turbo, then you'll find a short with a manufactured range of potential V6 engine notes, and then the sound of turbocharged V6 Indycars testing last year at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Any, or none of them, could be Formula One's future.
