Rare G body Mercedes,a so called Wolf Convertible,it has the reliable 4 cylinder 240D diesel- motor in it.Was used by the Danish army,and I bought it from a private person in Holland,who imported it from Denmark to Holland and used it there before I bought it. He put on an expensive warn winch and 4 new tires.Be the coolest on the beach,in the desert or at the mudbog since most likely you will be the only one who has one :-).I also have a 2 door 300gd 1986 diesel and a 5 door 300gd diesel 1986.I always have rare diesels in stock or on the way from Europe,not only Mercedes,also VW,toyota,landrovers,etc.All from Europe.If its really rare in Europe and its gas, ill buy it also but prefer sticking to diesels.Sold as is where is but with a florida title,inspections are encouraged,testdrives only with cash in the hand.No financing so make sure you counted your money and have permission from your wife.This rare truck is ready to go.no ac but am pretty sure its easy to put in if you wanted it,i would just take the top off :-) The G is in fla but it will be a few weeks for a fla title.I can get more of this type of G and other G models.Speedo is in KM so 111000 km which translates to roughly 69000 miles.Has power steering.500 deposit within one hour of auction ends,balance to be paid in 3 working days,storage is free for as long as you need, Don't miss out,snow is coming :-). X1, 3 Series power BMW back into global luxury autos sales lead
Thu, 14 Mar 2013BMW managed to eke ahead of Audi for the global luxury sales crown in February. According to Bloomberg, BMW saw deliveries swell by 7 percent in February, besting the 3.2 percent jump enjoyed by Audi and giving BMW a 407-unit delivery lead over its rival last month. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, continued to falter, with the brand selling some 37,229 fewer machines than BMW, whose factories are running at full capacity to keep up with demand. Models like the X1 (shown above) enjoyed a sales increase of 40 percent in February while the company's bread-and-butter 3 Series jumped by 26 percent.
Mercedes-Benz hopes to stem its continued market share loss with the addition of the entry-level CLA sedan to its portfolio in April. The company is set to roll out an updated version of its cash-cow E-Class at the same time, and a new-generation S-Class will follow along shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, the company is increasing production to meet demand for its A and B-Class models.
2014 Mercedes S-Class priced lower from $92,900*
Mon, 09 Sep 2013The massively overhauled 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class will start at $92,900, not including a $925 destination fee, when it arrives at US dealers in October. That's a 2.8-percent drop over the 2013 S-Class, although Mercedes is fast to point out that a drop in price doesn't equate with a drop in equipment for the executive sedan.
Besides an extra 20 horsepower from the 4.6-liter, biturbocharged V8, the S550 sports a standard panoramic sunroof, keyless start, a rear-view camera and LED headlights, taillights and interior lights. Adding the German manufacturer's 4Matic all-wheel-drive system bumps the S550's price up to $95,900.
If the S550 doesn't quite cut the mustard, you can wait until November, at which point Mercedes will quite happily sell you the new S63 AMG 4Matic for $139,500. Power is also up on the S63, from a max of 563 ponies with an AMG Performance Package to 577 horsepower as standard on the 2014 model.
Mercedes-AMG teases GT interior, announces fall 2014 debut
Tue, 15 Apr 2014Mercedes-Benz opted to tease the assembled media at its post-New York Auto Show party, showing off a pair of images of the exquisitely crafted interior of the highly anticipated successor of the SLS AMG - the V8-powered Mercedes-AMG GT.
Slated for a debut in the fall at either Paris or Los Angeles (we're betting Paris), you'll note straight away that there's something wrong with this car's name. Where's the "Benz?" Well, it's been ditched to, as Mercedes says, "make the dream of the authentic Mercedes-AMG sports car come true." Sorry Karl.
"The new Mercedes-AMG GT proves that we will be positioning AMG as a dynamic sports car brand even more strongly and aggressively than before," said Tobias Moers, CEO of Mercedes-AMG.
