The photos don't lie. This is a truly rare find.

You won't find another Mercedes Benz from this year with these super-low highway miles.

This is 1 of 3 automobiles we've owned recently. It's the extra car that got very little use–the Sunday drive car
that never spent a single night outside as long as we've owned it. Always garaged.

In the collecting world this car would get a NEAR-MINT rating.
In my book, the only cars deserving of a "MINT" classification are those still in the showroom.
All street driven cars will have tiny dings or tiny scratches if you look hard enough.
This one have very few. Everyone who sees this car instantly calls it "Mint"

I will point out 2 minor things you may see in the photos if you really look closely. But again, they're very minor.
I'm pointing them out so there's no surprises.
On the lower portion of the right side/back door, there's a small ding we never bothered getting fixed because we never really notice it much.
And on the back bumper, it looks like while parked it was touched enough for 2 licence plate screws from another vehicle to make an indentation. Again, this is very minor stuff when you look at the big picture of this car being a 2007 with under 19,000 miles.
There's not any other even minor noticeable flaws.

Most people would not point out these minor things. But as you can see, I'm an honest 100% feedback Ebayer for well over a decade.
This car is truly a GEM!!! I've seen many 2012s that wished they were in this condition!

A FEW BULLET-POINTS:
–The rims are in excellent/shiny clean condition as you'll see.
–The interior is stunningly sharp & clean in its beautiful duo-tone tan color with mahogany trim.
–Superior high-end audio Harman Kardon speakers.
–The matts which I photographed are the original from the showroom. Not replacements that look the part.
I have never laid foot on these matts. I preserved them with protective rubber matt covers over them.
A nice bonus to have the original mats in this pristine condition!
–Surprisingly spacious trunk space with all the original booklets/documents this car came with.
–Sunroof
–GPS
–CD Changer
–Heated Seats
–Airbags
–The engine is in brand new 2013 condition! Never touched for anything except oil changes.
This car has never had any problems. The title is CLEAN. Look it up for yourself!

There's just too much to list. There's so many more great features.

I did my best to photograph this car from all the best angles so you really get a feel for this beauty
for those of you who wish to buy this car without seeing it in person.
I assure you that you will not be surprised by any major flaw, because outside the 2 things I mentioned above,
you won't find anything significantly wrong with this car.

But it's always best to see it in person and take it for a test-drive.
But I warn you-You will fall in love with not just the condition but the drive.
By far the best driving car I've ever driven and I've driven some sweet cars in my time.

Feel free to call for additional info and to arrange to come see it. My number below.

I have a feeling this car will not be for sale long.
You just don't find this year & model in this original condition with these incredibly low miles.
And if you do, there's a chance it was hit and had some body-work. Not this car.

This baby is CLEAN. This is the REAL DEAL!!!

Good luck.

VW joins Daimler's protest of new A/C refrigerant as EU deadline for compliance passes

Sun, 06 Jan 2013

The case of Dupont and Honeywell's refrigerant R-1234yf is doing the exact opposite of keeping things cool. The two chemical companies have spent years and hundreds of millions of dollars developing R-1234yf to replace R-134a, the new refrigerant shown to be 99.7-percent kinder to the environment than the one it is meant to succeed. Part of that development has been years of testing by governments, outside safety agencies and automakers to approve the chemical for use in cars. It passed the protocols necessary for the European Union to declare that new and significantly revised cars from 2013 onward needed to use R-1234yf, and mandated that every car as of 2017 must use it.
Enter Daimler AG. The automaker created a head-on collision test with a B-Class at their Sindelfingen test track that would lead to the pressurized refrigerant being sprayed on the engine. The result in 20 out of 20 test was that the refrigerant burst into flames as soon as it hit the hot engine, while Daimler says that R-134a does not catch fire in the same test. Another unexpected result of the R-1234yf test was the release of hydrogen flouride, a chemical far more deadly to humans than hydrogen cyanide, emitted in such amounts that it that turned the windshield white as it began to eat into the glass.
Said a Daimler engineer in a Reuters piece, "It was scarcely believable. The most complicated lab tests conducted using the most sensitive measuring instruments around found nothing and all we do is drive a car around a couple of times, open a tiny hole in the refrigerant line and the next thing you know the car is on fire." So Daimler said it wouldn't use the refrigerant, and it recalled the cars it had already shipped with R-1234yf.

In Which Mercedes' Sprinter Becomes A Long-Distance Sherpa
In the wintery wilds of northern Alaska, even the cute little critters want to kill you.
As I am about to nod off on my long leg flight from Minneapolis to Anchorage ahead of driving to the Arctic Circle, the friendly twenty-something Alaskan knitting furiously in the seat next to me pauses and says, "When you're driving up there, don't open your windows." In the dead of winter? I hadn't planned on cruising alfresco, but her warning to keep the glazing snugged against the weatherstripping is one I would take to heart. She continues: "If you leave 'em open, a fox is liable to jump right in. There are lots of rabid foxes up there, and they leap into your car and just Go. To. Town." And here I was, thinking that a curious bear or maybe an ill-placed moose in the road was going to be my biggest potential four-legged threat. In the wintery wilds of northern Alaska, even the cute little critters want to kill you.

Aston Martin and Daimler continue talks on SUV project, CEO required

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

The Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept revealed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show didn't earn the plaudits the company is used to when it reveals new models, and it has lived an uncertain life ever since. Thought to have been scrapped along with the entire revival of the Lagonda brand, then thought to have been resurrected due to Chinese, Middle Eastern and Russian demand, another year passed before we heard more definitive talk about an Aston Martin expansion when AutoCar reported that the Lagonda could be built on one of Mercedes-Benz's AMG SUV platforms.
A report in Automotive News Europe indicates plans have gotten serious, its unnamed sources saying that the English carmaker is talking to Daimler "to extend their cooperation to building an SUV." Neither Daimler, Aston Martin nor Investindustrial, the managing partner among Aston Martin's ownership consortium, would comment. But with Investindustrial having pledged to expand the range, competitors like Bentley, Maserati and Lamborghini getting into the SUV racket and clear demand from current and future customers, it's easy to believe Aston Martin is working hard to put the pieces together.
One further potential bump on the road to an Aston SUV is the company's search for a new CEO. Ulrich Bez relinquished to top spot at the company at the end of 2013, and Aston reportedly will not finalize its model strategy without a new CEO in place.
