This is an immaculate example of the ultra-safe, economical, luxurious, and desirable E320 CDI Turbo Diesel sedan from Mercedes-Benz, a 2005 model with DVD navigation, bluetooth, hands-free, voice recognition, cd changer, leather seats, automatic windshield wipers, automatic headlights, power leather seats, and so much more. This car has been extremely well maintained since new, and is ready for safe and dependable daily transportation. Government fuel economy ratings come in for this car at 23MPG in the city, and 33MPG on the highway! ( I have averaged 33-36 mpg ). The car has only 70k miles on its very strong and dependable turbo diesel engine. The car has always been maintained and serviced at Mercedes dealerships. The 70k maintenance has just been done a couple of months ago. All four tires are like-new Michelins. This car will be a beautiful and dependable vehicle for some lucky bidder for many many years to come.
This car is practically new. Very little to point out: - There is a small door ding on the front drivers side fender (picture - very hard to see) - There is a small scratch above the driver's side rear wheel (picture) - The cloth on the pillar inside the drivers door has some tears in it from getting in and out of the vehicle (picture). Other than that, the car is immaculate and runs/drives/looks like brand new. I have really enjoyed driving this car. The torque, power, and comfortable ride make it a real pleasure to drive. This car has NEVER been smoked in and has been garage kept for most of its life.

Mercedes A45 AMG in downhill battle with slipstream skateboarder
Mon, 30 Sep 2013We're told it takes "performance, control and expression" to pilot a longboard skateboard down a mountain road, and that those happen to be the same values embodied in the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. That's how the two came to be combined in a black-and-white short film called Silver Slipstream.
There's no talking, no engine note and no color, just some music, a 'boarder and a car on a long cruise down the Franschhoek Pass in the Western Cape of South Africa." Despite that, it's actually a pretty entertaining video of the latest Mercedes-Benz hot hatch married with extreme sports. You can watch how it all goes down in the video below.
X1, 3 Series power BMW back into global luxury autos sales lead
Thu, 14 Mar 2013BMW managed to eke ahead of Audi for the global luxury sales crown in February. According to Bloomberg, BMW saw deliveries swell by 7 percent in February, besting the 3.2 percent jump enjoyed by Audi and giving BMW a 407-unit delivery lead over its rival last month. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, continued to falter, with the brand selling some 37,229 fewer machines than BMW, whose factories are running at full capacity to keep up with demand. Models like the X1 (shown above) enjoyed a sales increase of 40 percent in February while the company's bread-and-butter 3 Series jumped by 26 percent.
Mercedes-Benz hopes to stem its continued market share loss with the addition of the entry-level CLA sedan to its portfolio in April. The company is set to roll out an updated version of its cash-cow E-Class at the same time, and a new-generation S-Class will follow along shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, the company is increasing production to meet demand for its A and B-Class models.
Paul di Resta returns to DTM with Mercedes
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Some drivers manage to make the transition from one form of motor racing into another, and some run into trouble. Take Paul di Resta, for example. The promising young Scottish driver dominated Formula 3 racing in Europe in 2006, then moved over to Germany's hugely competitive DTM touring car series where he finished second in 2008, third in 2009 and first in 2010. But things didn't go as smoothly for Paul - cousin to retired Indy champion Dario Franchitti - when he moved in to Formula One with the Force India team.
In three years on the grid, he failed to score a single podium finish. Little surprise, then, that Force India opted not to renew his contract for this season. Left without a ride, di Resta is now going back to DTM with longtime supporter Mercedes-Benz, testing the new C-Class touring car today in Portugal. It's good news for Mercedes, which is celebrating 120 years in motor racing this season and, with 2005 champion Gary Paffett also on board, can now count two former champions on its DTM roster.
We wouldn't count Paul out of F1 for good, though. When he won the DTM title four years ago, he was also moonlighting as Force India's test driver, and we wouldn't be surprised to see him pull similar double-duty with the Mercedes F1 team (or another Benz-powered outfit) this year before spring-boarding back into grand prix racing in the future. At 27 years old, he may not have been the youngest driver on the grid this year, but he's still got a good few years ahead of him.
