Up for sale is my fathers Used NON SMOKING 1994 Mercedes Benz E320 Convertible in Great condition for it's age. White with a powered Blue top - Grey leather int - 4 speed automatic transmission - Ice cold AC - AM/FM/CD + weather channel radio - Heated seats & rear window defroster - All Maintenance performed - Looks and runs great - Very Clean and Well maintained car and has been his daily driver, Tires are like new, New battery. There is a few spots of rust starting to show under the paint and a few rub marks on the rear bumper as shown in the pictures and I am told this can all be remedied with a good auto detailer,except for the rust issue and I found three of these spots on the car = two outside and one in the driver inside door well. The tops has a fray on one of the seams on the rear passenger side. There is a few scrapes on the wheels, rear bumper, passenger side rear quarter panel lower body trim. The car will have to be repainted at some time in the near future or at least spot painted and cleared again. The inside shows some very slight wear on the drivers seat bottom and back rub marks and arm rest has some light cracking, Again from what I understand a good auto detailer can bring back and die these back to like it was however they do it. Please look at all the pictures as this is a great used car at a great price. 13-year-old boy swipes dad's Mercedes, drives across Europe
Wed, 16 Jan 2013After an argument with his adoptive parents that resulted in them taking away his mobile phone, an angry 13-year-old boy ran away from his home in Italy and headed straight to Poland to meet his biological sister. But instead of taking the train or hitching a ride, like most on the run, the young man (an accomplished go-kart racer and car enthusiast) grabbed the keys to his father's Mercedes-Benz and jumped behind the wheel for an impromptu road trip.
With less than 200 euros (about $270) in his wallet and a passport in his pocket, the youngster managed to put more than 500 miles between himself and his distraught parents, crossing two international borders in the process, before German police nabbed him just shy of the Polish border. According to reports, the vehicle was tracked - it wasn't his driving that alerted authorities to his location.
Reunited with his mother and father, who traveled to Germany to retrieve both their son and the vehicle, the young man apologized and acknowledged his error. As a result of his actions, social workers will increase checks on the family and we can be sure his parents are now hiding the keys.

Online Find of the Day: Lexus-engined Mercedes pickup is a vintage hybrid
Tue, 16 Sep 2014You have to love someone who gets incredibly committed to a very weird idea. What you see for sale here is a right-hand drive 1971 Mercedes-Benz 220D in South Africa, but this old Mercedes is now converted into a pickup, complete with bed cover, and there's big secret under the hood, too.
The pickup conversion appears well done based on seller Sedgefield Classic Cars' photos. Even the tonneau cover fits well. You could almost believe that this Mercedes lived its life as a Chevrolet El Camino-like pickup from the very beginning.
However, the rear-quarters conversion might not be the weirdest thing about this Mercedes. The original diesel is gone from the engine bay in favor of a Lexus V8. It seems really odd to pop the hood and find a Japanese mill in this German car, but the photos make it look like a fairly well performed swap. So, bravo to the crazy thinking. According to the seller speaking to Autoblog by email, "as far as we can establish, this was done a few years ago, with all Lexus components."
