This listing is for sale of a mechanically excellent 1991 Mercedes 420 SEL Automatic Silver. This is my personal vehicle.
- A nice clean Florida car for its entire lifetime, the car is in sound shape.
- The car is running daily and is in excellent mechanical shape.

- Everything works on the car as it should, except few minor issues which need tlc: one rear window, headlight washer wiper, power antenna.
- A spare power antenna will be included and most likely will be installed before delivering the vehicle or supplied along with it to the buyer.
- It starts right up, shifts smooth and cruises and drives nice and straight. It does not leak or burn engine oil or transmission oil.
- The car comes with all the books it originally came with, has service history has well.
- The interior is nice and clean with the driver seat has some wear with couple of tears.
- Roof lining, rear seats carpets, consoles are all clean and nice.
- All switches work on the vehicle.
- The vehicle has everything original on it, including the carpets.
- It has factory Blaupunkt cassette-radio system which works nice and sounds great. The volume fades and increases with vehicle speed as it should. The fader switch in the center console works but has some hesitation.
- The power seats, memory seats, power headrest adjustment power windows, power sunroof, cruise control, air conditioning, dimmer switch, fog lights, power steering height adjustment, power mirror... all work exactly as they should.
- The car Vehicle History report is stating clearly that it is in well beyond average condition, if you see the marks it gets above.
- The paint is faded on roof, hood and trunk and fenders, it is original paint. With buffing it will enhance the looks of the vehicle, but may as well be repainted.
- The tyres have some tread but less than 50%.
- The spare is a full size.
- The trunk light does not work.
- The rear a/c duct works. rear lighters and reading light as well as courtesy lights work.
- The power steering has a small leak, it will be fixed at a certified mechanic before delivery.
- I have purchased new spark plugs and brake pads all around, which will be included in the sale.

- Addition update:
- The car has a new battery, installed Dec2012/Jan2013 which still carries warranty.
- A/c works excellent, all vents work 100%, front and back seats.
- Transmission will last many years, as it was newly built about 20k miles ago.
- It was bought by me at 137000 and since I have put over 2000 miles on it without a hick-up. The odometer stopped at 139013 but i have ordered the replacement gear and it will be included.
- The car is buy and drive in this condition.
- You can buy and drive it anywhere.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup shows its freshened face
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Mercedes-Benz showed us its redesigned 2014 E-Class more than a month ago, but the Detroit Auto Show finally gave us a chance to see the full family of mid-size luxury cars and wagons in the flesh. Dieter Zetsche introduced the cars, including sedan, coupe, convertible and station wagon, on stage showing the stylish new design direction.

Man makes record-setting drive across the US in 28 hours, 50 minutes

Whether that's cramming the most hot dogs down your gullet, running a faster mile, or yes, driving across the United States, odds are that there's someone out there wants to eat more, run faster or drive harder. Speaking of that last example, the record for driving from a set location on the east coast, in particular the Red Ball Garage in Manhattan to the Portofino Hotel in Redondo Beach, CA, has been one that has fascinated gearheads since a guy named Cannonball Baker made the trek from New York to LA in 53 hours, 30 minutes, in 1933.
The competition saw its glory days when Car and Driver's Brock Yates came up with the Cannonball Baker Sea-To-Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash (more affectionately known as the Cannonball Run), although the record was most recently set by Alex Roy and his 32-hour, seven-minute trek behind the wheel of a BMW M5 in 2006. Now, there's a new champion, who made the trip from east to west in a scarcely imaginable 28 hours and 50 minutes, behind the wheel of a 2004 Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG. That's works out to an average speed of 98 miles per hour over the course of 2,813.7 miles.
