This is a 1994 Mercedes Benz E320 Cabriolet. These cars were only produced for two years in 1994 and 1995 and very few were sent to the US. I am using the Buy it Now or Offer type of auction which is the fairest way to go, so if you have questions please call me on 901 277-3678 for an honest description. I have 100% feedback and intend to keep it that way. I have had several of this model through the years and they are excellent cruisers and have timeless styling. This Benz has had the 15" Wheels upgraded to 17" with Chrome Mercedes AMG Wheels with Bridgestone Tires and it has an awesome stance which seperates it from all others. The mileage is low at 85k miles and it is offered at a bargain price compared to others for sale. I know the previous owner for the last 12 years before I got it and it has been garaged and maintained excellently. I have some service records which includes having the Convertible Top Replaced and the hydraulics rebuilt that control the top, which is a plus as they deteriorate with age and leak. This one is ready to go and the top works perfectly as do all of the other options and accessories. If you know these Benz's, then you know the list price was near $80,000. There were just a few options available, and this one is equipped with two of them-namely the heated seats and a 6 disc CD Changer in the trunk. The Climate Control works with cold A/C and the cruise also works. The fit and finish on this car is very good and it drives and performs smoothly. X1, 3 Series power BMW back into global luxury autos sales lead
Thu, 14 Mar 2013BMW managed to eke ahead of Audi for the global luxury sales crown in February. According to Bloomberg, BMW saw deliveries swell by 7 percent in February, besting the 3.2 percent jump enjoyed by Audi and giving BMW a 407-unit delivery lead over its rival last month. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, continued to falter, with the brand selling some 37,229 fewer machines than BMW, whose factories are running at full capacity to keep up with demand. Models like the X1 (shown above) enjoyed a sales increase of 40 percent in February while the company's bread-and-butter 3 Series jumped by 26 percent.
Mercedes-Benz hopes to stem its continued market share loss with the addition of the entry-level CLA sedan to its portfolio in April. The company is set to roll out an updated version of its cash-cow E-Class at the same time, and a new-generation S-Class will follow along shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, the company is increasing production to meet demand for its A and B-Class models.
Mercedes-Benz introduces new heavy security M-Class Guard model
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new addition to the company's line of personal security vehicles. The M-Class Guard features bullet-proof side windows made with special laminated glazing and a polycarbonate inner layer to protect occupants from shards of glass. Mercedes says the M-Class Guard meets protection level VR4 according to the Bullet Resistant Vehicles 2009 standards, based on testing from the independent Ulm-based Ballistics Bureau, which means it can withstand .357 Magnum and .44 fire from multiple angles. It can also stand up to the DM51 hand grenade when equipped with optional floor armoring. Why skimp?
Buyers looking for protection from the world's literal slings and arrows can opt for the ML350 BlueTEC with its 258 horsepower 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine. With 457 pound-feet of torque, the oil-burner should have no trouble hustling the privileged class about. Of course, the ML500 offers a bit more punch courtesy of a 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 with 408 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes has already booked 30k orders for new S-Class
Mon, 21 Oct 2013When Toyota snags 30,000 Corolla orders over a three-month span, it's entirely possible we're in the midst of a global economic collapse and that the end is nigh. That's because the scale for Toyota is so very large. Mercedes-Benz, on the other hand, operates on a much smaller scale, particularly when we talk about its higher-end models, like the S-Class.
In 2012, Mercedes sold 65,000 of its flagship sedans in Germany and the EU. That's 178 units per day, for 365 days. Based on that, you can imagine the excitement at Stuttgart when it accepted 30,000 orders for the new S-Class in just three months. That's an average of 333 per day on a continent with a notoriously shaky economy. Now, admittedly, this enthusiasm could wane as the refitted S-Class becomes more common and Mercedes achieves market saturation in Europe's many chauffeur and livery services, but Mercedes isn't choosing to look at it that way.
"The new S-Class has already jumped back into the lead in terms of new vehicle registrations in Germany and its neighboring European countries," Mercedes-Benz head of sales and marketing, Ola Kaellenius, said in a statement last week.
