This Mercedes Benz was purchased New at Kirkpatrick Motor CO. in Albuquerque, NM on July 31, 1977 by a rancher from Alamosa, CO. I have books and service records along with the dealer warranty Service card that has the original owners name. The car remained registered in SW Colorado until 1993 at which time the original owner moved to Ft Collins, in northern Colorado. It has always resided in Colorado’s dry climate and has zero rust on the lower body panels or underside of the car. Original interior is in beautiful condition as you can see in the pictures . Dash has a couple of cracks, consistent w/our dry climate. The paint is in good condition and appears to be original factory paint. It appears that the car has always been garaged.

It is equipped with the M110 , 167.6 cu. In duel overhead cam 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, air conditioning(upgraded to 134), AM/FM stereo w/CD player. This car starts and runs great, transmission shift thru it’s gears with ease, brakes work well, power door locks and windows work as they should. I have posted more than 50 pictures of outside, inside and underside of car in this listing. Please take a look at them. I believe, they will give you an idea of how nice this car is. If you like these older Mercedes Benz’ as I do, you may want to consider this one. I would like to keep all of them but, I am retiring this year & have decided to downsize my collection. If you have any questions, please e-mail me and I will get an answer to you as quickly as possible.

Mercedes CLA45 AMG Racing is ready for a spot on the grid

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Mercedes-Benz trotted out its CLA45 AMG-based racer at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. We first showed you the sedan in the deluge of news and reveals that precedes most good auto shows, and were blown away by the car, formally known as the CLA45 AMG Racing Series.
We were strolling by the Mercedes stand, and figured we'd pop in and take a look at the new racer and its carbon-fiber body panels, gutted interior, and race-sourced aero parts. It's a looker, both as a road car and a track weapon. It's not clear what series the CLA45 AMG will qualify for, although it does seem like a shoe-in for the World Touring Car Championship. Let us know what you think of the CLA racer down in the comments. In the meantime, we've got a full gallery of live images up top, along with the stock images that were posted last week on the Mercedes-Benz Facebook page.

2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class caught totally undisguised

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Based on the lightly camouflaged spy shots of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class we've seen lately, it hasn't taken a vivid imagination to picture what the next iteration of this big luxury sedan will look like. Even so, we now we have our first unobstructed views of the redesigned S-Class, codenamed W222, as it has just been caught out flaunting for some promo shots.
The first thing we notice about the new S-Class design is the disappearance of the last generation's flared wheel arches. Yet the new design adds even more character with bodyside creases similar to the CLS-Class and some elements reminiscent of 2007's F700 Concept, including the massive grille and vertical LED taillights. Other key details include a large panoramic roof and the narrow exhaust outlets, but the large LED-trimmed headlights and the aggressive front fascia are probably the biggest departure from the current design. With these spy shots, we also catch a blurry shot of the interior, but we've seen a practically uncovered look at the new S-Class' cabin back in January.
Overall, the next S-Class sports an expressive and premium new look, but as far as all-new designs go, it's quite conservative - a move no doubt fitting for these lean financial times.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied once again

Fri, 08 Feb 2013

As evidenced by how little camouflage the next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been caught wearing lately, it can't be too much longer until the car will get its official debut. In our newest shots of the yacht-sized luxo sedan, the cladding still covers up the headlights, front fascia and most of the rear end, but we finally have an almost undisguised look at the rest of the car's lines.
Considering previous spy shots had more camo that better (or fully) concealed the S-Class' body, some of the more obvious things we see in these images include the prominent grille, the CLS-Class-inspired bodyside creases, the pointed trunk opening and, most interestingly, a lack of fancy exhaust outlets. Unlike other S-Class prototypes we've seen, this car does not have integrated outlets, but it does have two pipes on the left side of the car. All current S-Class models in the US and Europe feature a dual exhaust layout on each side of the car, so while some of our questions about the car get answered, it would appear that more are just arising.
