I am selling my RX8 and yes it has an original mileage of 6,565. The car has custom colored Cenergy Green paint and a carbon fiber spoiler. The door handles are shaved and door poppers need to be installed. There is a hydraulic hand brake that needs lines ran as well. The front right head light needs a bulb and ballast. There are custom installed doors and fenders on the front side of the car that are unique and have never been done on an rx8. The car is a 6 speed manual. Navigation and seat heaters all work. The car will start and drive like its brand new every time. There is no exhaust on the car. I intended to make it a drift car and did a cat delete and removed the muffler. It will spit flames for you!
The car is equipped with a legit VeilSide Body Kit. The bumpers have the actual name stamped on them. It is not an ebay cheap nock off kit. This is a legit kit.

NOTE:
The rear bumper was removed by a very large puddle one week ago. When I hit the puddle coming back from getting gas the bumper was sitting right in front of it. There is damage to the bumper but after talking with a local body shop they stated it can be repaired, repainted and reinstalled with no issues.

The title of the car is available, however, I do not have it. The soldier I bought the car from gave me a bill of sale and left for over seas. He left and his wife left him as well and she never got me the title. I moved back to Indiana since then and he has not returned calls. I can go to the court locally and get a court appointed title. Not a problem. If the buyer would like that done, i will schedule a court date and will get it done.

Buyer will need to contact me at the end of the auction. Half the purchase price will be due within 24 hours via paypal, the rest will be paid within 72 hours or at the time of pickup.

2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata reveal to be livestreamed, feature Duran Duran

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

We're all hungry like the wolf to see the unveiling of the next-generation 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata on September 3, but Mazda is seriously excited about taking the sheet of its latest droptop because it has 1980s New Wave act Duran Duran headlining the event. In case you can't make it to Monterey, CA, Tokyo or Barcelona to watch the reveal happen, the brand is also livestreaming it on YouTube starting at 6:00 PM PT (9:00 PM ET). The Miata is then showing its all-new face again during the broadcast of Fashion Rocks on CBS on September 9 at 9:00 PM ET.
Facts about the new MX-5 have remained elusive, but we saw its bare chassis at the 2014 New York show. The roadster was rumored to return to the classic oval grille from the earlier models and also shed a decent amount of weight over the current version, possibly around 300 pounds.
Don't worry about noting the big reveal in your calendars, though. Not only will Autoblog be in attendance in Monterey to hear Simon Le Bon belt out Rio, we will also publish another post linking to the livestream before the unveiling. In the meantime, scroll down to read Mazda's announcement and check out the link to the stream, which just shows a countdown at the moment.

Are you the 2016 Mazda Miata?

Tech nerds are spoiled. Every year, there's a new iPhone that arrives following months and months of breathless speculation and rumormongering. We car folk have a more difficult life, because vehicles with the iPhone's cult-like devotion and following, while plentiful, only receive hefty updates after several years. Case in point, the Mazda MX-5.
There's a new one coming, and much like the iPhone 6, it'll arrive in just a few weeks. So, in lockstep with the tech folk, we're anxiously biding our time and waiting with baited breath for the expected debut date of September 3. Also, like Apple fanboys, we're clamoring over any hint or teaser as to what the next-gen Miata will bring, which is why we're showing you the above image.
That is, allegedly, the new MX-5 hiding under the sheet. Auto Motor und Sport has the image, which according to World Car Fans was released by Mazda. Of course, we've reached out to the Zoom-Zoom brand for verification of its authenticity, and will be sure to update as soon as we hear back.

Fiat reconsidering Mazda-based Alfa Romeo roadster? [w/poll]

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Alfa giveth and Alfa taketh away. With apologies to Job (he has gone through a lot, after all), that's how things are looking at the Italian automaker - whether it's the promise of new products or its impending return to the North American market. But it's especially true when it comes to new roadsters.
While Alfa Romeo is expected to unveil the 4C Spider at the Geneva Motor Show this week, reports are now suggesting that its other roadster project is being called into question. That project is a joint venture between Fiat and Mazda, which was set to produce a version of its next MX-5 Miata as an Alfa Romeo, and was even changing the design to accommodate Alfa's requirements.
Now it appears, however, that the whole project in doubt. The problem seems to stem from Sergio Marchionne's pronouncements that, as long as he's in charge, there won't be an Alfa Romeo built outside of Italy.
