You are looking at a 2004 Mazda RX-8 Coupe. We are selling this "as-is, where-is." Runs and drives great, very fast with good handling. It has a 1.3L rotary ("Wankel") engine (model: RENESIS 13B-MSP) with a 6-speed manual transmission. This is the model with the 6-speed and the 6 port rotary engine that is rated at a higher 238HP than the 5-speed or automatic. It has average wear for the year and miles. The body is in good shape, with no rust or other issues. It has a few very small marks or dings on the bumpers, a small ding on the right rear quarter, and some chipping on the rims (see pics). The interior is clean and in very good shape, leather and loaded. It has cold A/C, AM/FM CD stereo, cruise, sunroof, power windows, locks, mirrors, and power, heated leather seats. It has a cool, sporty look with side "suicide" doors. It has a good PA inspection until Aug 2015. Mazda CX-5 facelift leaks online
Mon, 10 Nov 2014It's only been a couple of years since Mazda introduced its CX-5 crossover, so it's hardly in need of replacement just yet. But to keep it fresh, the Japanese automaker is apparently preparing to roll out a facelift for the compact crossover.
The facelifted model is expected to debut at the LA Auto Show later this month, but before it does, a handful of images - apparently scanned from a brochure - have leaked out online. From what we can see, it looks like the revised CX-5 features a new grille with horizontal bars, LED headlamps derived from those on the new Mazda2, new fog light surrounds, new taillight graphics and, of course, new wheels.
Unfortunately we can't see what's going on inside, but it'd be safe to bet that, along with the revised exterior detailing, Mazda's probably taken the opportunity to update the interior as well.
Scion FR-S pitted against oldtimers RX-8 and S2000

A case could be made for the Mazda MX-5 Miata, and possibly even six-cylinder versions of American coupes like the Ford Mustang. Pretty much everything else is either too expensive or is powered by the wrong set of wheels.
The boys from EverydayDriver on YouTube decided the only fair way to judge the inherent qualities of the Toyobaru twins was to pit them against two standard-bearers of years past: The Honda S2000 and Mazda RX-8. Neither of these cars is an exact matchup, with the Honda boasting a convertible top and the RX-8 offering more practicality via a rear seat and two reverse-opening doors for easier access. What they do offer, however, are similar performance stats and proven reputations for excellent handling.

Mazda rolls out unlimited mileage warranty in Canada
Fri, 14 Nov 2014Cold weather might be starting to grip parts of Canada, but our neighbors to the north are going to be able to drive their 2015 Mazda cars and utilities from Vancouver to Montreal with a little more peace of mind. That's because Mazda Canada is instituting an unlimited mileage warranty for its new models.
The updated plan starts with all 2015 model year vehicles (even those already sold), and the scheme simply removes that distance limit on everything but the emissions defect coverage. That means that the Mazdas have one year of service adjustments, three years of new vehicle coverage, five years on the powertrain, seven years against corrosion and three years of roadside assistance for as many kilometers as the owner drives.
The change removes at least one, tiny piece of anxiety about buying a new vehicle because it's easy to know when the coverage ends. "By offering our customers an Unlimited Mileage Warranty, we believe it will enhance their ownership experience by alleviating concerns such as kilometre limitations, repair costs and resale value," Kory Koreeda, president of Mazda Canada, in the automaker's announcement.
