I have owned this 1985 mazda rx-7 GS for 4 years, the first year was designated to restoring and putting aftermarket parts on it, If you are looking for a car for this year look no further this is a classic and powered by a 12A rotary motor which has been bridge ported, manual 5 speed Transmission. The things that I have done to it are: Youtube http://youtu.be/FvpSELUaS94 New rebuilt motor with new rotor housings and bridge port both housings, motor has less than 500 miles, (receipts for all new parts & kits) Remote Alarm system Tociko racing shocks New gas tank Racing Beat header to muffler Rebuilt carburetor Grant Racing steering wheel New paint Auto meter Guages: Volts Temp Tach Speedo Clock Oil Pressure Fuel Guage New front brake rotors and calipers Newly Upholstered Leather Seats New Carpet New Tires with only 800 miles on New Clutch with only 200 miles on New Battery Sound System 2x Kenwood 12" Subs 1x 2000w Amplifier 1x New Kenwood deck w/ USB hook up Nitrous ready to hook up bottle included Tint on side windows, can be taken off upon request (not tint you find at autozone or Walmart it was professionally done), I did not want the back window done because the amp and the Nitrous bottle are back there and it they look cool. Runs great and idles at about 1000 rpm, sounds awesome with the new racing beat exhaust system. Buyers Guide, deposit is non refundable sale is final and car is sold as is where as - NO WARRANTY |

Suzuki recalls 2 million cars globally
Wed, Apr 22 2015Suzuki is recalling two million vehicles across the globe, including a number of Chevrolet Cruze sedans that it builds for General Motors, because the ignition switches may begin to smoke. None of the Cruzes being recalled were sold in the US, though. This recall is limited to the Japanese, European and Australian markets. In Suzuki's home market, 1,873,000 vehicles are being recalled, including the Cruze and a number kei cars built for Mazda (the Carol and AZ-Wagon), as well as the automaker's own Alto, Wagon R and Swift. Affected vehicles were built between 1998 and 2009. The remaining 133,000 vehicles include Cruzes and other Suzuki products sold in Europe and Australia. There have been no reports of injuries or accidents due to the 67 reported incidents, all of which come from the Japanese market, a Suzuki spokesperson told Automotive News. Related Video:
Did Mazda designer Derek Jenkins leave to head up a 'Stealth Project?'
Sat, Jul 25 2015Not long after Derek Jenkins officially gave the 2016 MX-5 Miata to the buying world, he's left the Mazda building. Jalopnik reported that the head of design for Mazda North America changed the current job description on his LinkedIn profile to "Stealth Project." Mazda backed up the discovery with this reply to Jalop's inquiry: Derek left Mazda last Friday. He left on great terms in order to work on a new endeavor. We wish him the best of luck. He will be missed, but we are sure that he will do great things in the next chapter of his career. That "last Friday" would be July 17. Emphasizing the "stealth" bit in his new position, as far as we can tell, Jenkins still hasn't publicly answered any question about what he's doing. Every automaker has secrets, but traditional automakers usually make a hubbub about hiring big-name designers, especially one with Jenkins' resume. For his new employer to go all Ghost Recon with all information, well that's the kind of mystery this summer needs. The obvious culprit would be a certain fruit-named company in a certain Cupertino, CA office park. If that ends up being the case, Jenkins would be the second chief designer at Mazda NA to go electric: he replaced Franz von Holzhausen in the position after von Holzhausen went to Tesla. Various other Apple Project Titan hires have made the news, though. For all we know, Jenkins' project might not be automotive. So let's just go ahead and cue the speculation. We're looking forward to whatever he's got coming, and to whoever gets nominated to keep the full head of Zoom-Zoom going at Mazda NA.
Mazda seeks $2.8 billion in loans to ride out pandemic
Sat, May 9 2020TOKYO — Mazda has sought loans totaling about 300 billion yen ($2.8 billion) from Japan's three megabanks and other lenders to ride out the coronavirus epidemic, a source with direct knowledge of the matter said on Saturday. The megabanks — Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Mizuho Financial Group — along with the Development Bank of Japan, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings and others are set to agree, with some already having extended the loans, the person said, declining to be identified because the information is not public. All three megabanks declined to comment on the loan request, which was reported by the Nikkei business daily earlier. Mazda did not immediately respond to a request for comment.  Mazda, like most other automakers, has reduced or halted production at factories around the world for the past few months as governments try to limit the spread of the new coronavirus.   Mazda's car sales and balance sheet had been weak even before the virus slammed the brakes on demand, with its interest-bearing debt of 650 billion yen far exceeding its cash and cash equivalents, according to the Nikkei.  Mazda is scheduled to announce its financial results for the year ended in March on Thursday.
