I am selling my 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII that is Champagne with Black Leather interior.

I am a 5+ year Ford Diesel Engine and Chassis Master technician and have performed ALL of the work myself.

The Engine is a 4.6 Liter, 280 Horse Power, 32 Valve, V8. This car shares the same engine as the 1996-2004 Mustang Cobra (with some minor differences). I take a lot of pride in this car and get a lot of compliments for how clean it is and how meticulously the work was performed.

The following is a list of the modifications to the car that I have performed.
Cobra 13" Front brakes / Cobra 11.56" Rear Brakes - Upgraded, larger brakes to help the car stop better. Brake pads are brand new.

Kenwood eXcelon KDC X-993 Radio with Bluetooth and audio-in.

JL Speakers

True Dual exhaust with Borla XS Pro mufflers - Very clean exhaust that is quiet while cruising, and sounds great when you get on it.

18" Ford Mustang wheels with 235/50z18 tires - All 4 tires have about 70% tread left on them.

New Transmission

3:73 gears with Limited-slip differential - Higher gear ratio helps the car accelerate quicker.

New style polyurethane Transmission and engine mounts - You will never need to replace them in the life of the car.

1 1/4" Sway Bars w/ Energy Suspension bushings - These aftermarket larger sway bars help keep the car level in turns, making the car a blast to drive on twisty roads.

Coil Spring conversion - The car no longer rides on the original, problematic Air Suspension.

6000k High Intensity Discharge Headlights.

All maintenance has been done meticulously, the car does not need any repairs at this time. Car was recently aligned and the oil change still has 2,000 miles left on it. The oil pan and other gaskets were all replaced within the last year. I would drive this car across the country right now with no worries.

I have decided to sell this car to move on to something different. The car is a BLAST to drive. If you have any questions about the car, you can email or text me, I will be glad to answer.

Car needs paint. No major dents or scratches worth mentioning.

Lincoln 'not true luxury' yet, says Ford design chief

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Lincoln is "not true luxury," according to Ford's design boss, J Mays. His statements come from a story in The Detroit News that saw candid language on the issues facing Ford's troubled premium brand. Notably, there's a need for a strong character, with Mays saying, "Every brand needs to have a DNA and a unique selling point and things in the vehicle that make you think, 'That's that particular brand.'"
With a range of rebadged Fords, it's not hard to see why that DNA is missing. Mays hinted that a full recovery for Lincoln will be a ten-year process, that's been kicked off with the MKZ sedan. While that car is still largely a Ford Fusion under its extremely pretty wrapper, it's the first Lincoln in some time to inject its own unique take both through the exterior styling and through interior features, such as the vertical, pushbutton gear selection.
Some analysts weren't so certain about Mays' 10-year estimate. Jim Hall of 2953 Analytics thinks it'll be more like 30 years before Lincoln can show a true return to form. The issue, as Hall explains it, is that, "luxury has a degree of exclusivity," that Lincoln just doesn't have. Michelle Krebs from Edmunds adds, "it's definitely a wanna-be luxury brand," comparing the troubled American brand with Infiniti and Acura, two other brands that have struggled to find their place in the luxury market.

2015 Lincoln Navigator gets lots of updates, still not all-new [w/video]

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

If there's one brand that could really use some fresh, all-new product, it's Lincoln. The MKC crossover is on the way and looks promising, but the just-revealed 2015 model year update of its fullsize Navigator would appear to stop somewhere short of being "all-new." This, despite replacing a product that's been on the market since 2007. Oh sure, there's a brash new face, complete with the company's love or hate split-wing grille, and the revised rear-end treatment does look better to our eyes (if overly familiar). But in the era of the bold new all-aluminum Ford F-150, the Navigator is still based on the outgoing model's all-steel bones, so it's more of an extensive mid-cycle refresh than a completely new piece.
Unlike the F-150, there's no aluminum suit on this black-tie bruiser
That's a shame, really, because the class the Navigator is playing in features a host of really modern, stylish, luxurious crossovers and sport utilities like the Cadillac Escalade, Land Rover Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and more. Unlike the F-150, there's no aluminum suit on this black-tie bruiser, but that's not to say it isn't bringing some new tech to the table in 2015. Under the hood, for example, is Ford's well-received 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6, putting out "at least" 370 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. That's a solid engine, and should be a whole lot more spunky and efficient than the archaic 5.4-liter Triton V8 currently being employed in the outgoing model.

Ford recalls nearly 1.3 million Fusions, Lincoln MKZs for brake hose leaks

Thu, Mar 16 2023

Ford Motor is recalling nearly 1.3 million Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans built from the 2013 through 2018 model years because their front brake hoses may rupture and leak brake fluid, which could affect stopping ability and increase the risk of a crash. The company notified the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration and says that in the event a leak occurs, the brake fluid warning light may illuminate on the instrument cluster behind the steering wheel. Dealers will replace the front brake hoses, free of charge, and notification letters to owners are to be mailed in mid-April. A second letter will be mailed once replacement parts are available. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 23S12. The vehicles affected were manufactured between Feb. 3, 2012, and July 19, 2017. In mid-2020, Ford recalled 488,594 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX SUVs for a similar problem regarding leaking brake lines.   Recalls Ford Lincoln Safety
