Lexus Is Is F Neiman Marcus Special Build 16 Of 50 on 2040-cars
Greenwood, Florida, United States

2008 Lexus IS F Special Build #16 of 50. Full Lexus Warranty until 3/11/16. 5.0L 32v V8.I love this car. The ONLY reason I'm selling is because I now have 3 kids (2, 3, & 6) and they aren't allowed in the F so anytime we go anywhere we end up taking the minivan. I live very close to my work and the trip back and forth is the only time I drive it which is such a waste for this beast. I did a little calculating and I've only been driving it under 4,500 miles a year so it's time to let somebody else enjoy it.This is an adult driven and car enthusiast owned vehicle that has been carefully driven and immaculately cared for (no burnouts etc). I have always spent a couple weekends each year fully detailing the car inside and out with Griot's Garage products (clay bar, polish, wax, etc) in addition to regular hand washes. I have all service records and paperwork that have been kept in a binder since I bought it, including the original sticker. Serviced almost exclusively at Lexus of Clearwater and just had the oil changed last month. Both keys are included.Details:2008 Lexus IS F Special Build #16 of 50. This is one of the first 50 IS F's off the assembly line and was featured and sold through the famous Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog making it rare and collectable in addition to being a awesome daily driver.-Just over 46k miles-LEXUS PLATINUM WARRANTY. I jumped through some hoops when I bought this car to purchase the official Lexus Financial Platinum extended warranty and not some 3rd party junk warranty. I had to purchase out of state to get it done but this is the best warranty available and you can use at any Lexus dealership and it IS transferrable. It doesn't expire until 3/11/16 or 75k miles. I highly doubt you find another one under warranty so you have some extra peace of mind.- Window tint-Custom Sunshade-WeatherTech Digifit floor mats (front and back)-New front brake pads, Brembo rotors, and water pump replaced 4k miles ago-Entire NAV system/screen replaced in '13 under warranty -There are really only two flaws on this car to speak of. 1. Is rock chips on the front bumper which seems to be unavoidable with Lexus paint (high quality and beautiful, but soft) and 2. A dent on the underside of front bumper from a parking lot stop. Because you can't see it I chose to not get it repaired. There are a few other paint imperfects but very minor.- It will need front tires in the near future as well. There's about 14k miles on the current set and I'll leave it up to the new owner to select the brand/model of tires they prefer when the time comes.I've been following these cars for years and I rarely see them come up for sale. The last one I saw was #6 of 50 and that sold for $38,990 in March of this year in Sarasota, FL.Title in hand. Cash buyer preferred but I'm willing to work with a buyer that is financing as well. I know PedFed.org has very competitive rates and there is a local dealer I have in mind that can facilitate financing if needed. Even if you don't use them you can probably use their rates to negotiate a lower rate with your lender. It think used car loans with them are currently at 1.99% APR.I did just have the vehicle serviced at Lexus of Clearwater but you are free to have it inspected yourself at your expense if you would like. Please email me with any questions. Thanks a lot!

2019 Lexus GS F 10th Anniversary Edition Drivers' Notes Review | Nothing gray about this sedan
Thu, Oct 10 2019The Lexus GS F is an old-school performance sedan with a big, naturally aspirated engine up front. You won’t find the phrase twin-turbo anywhere in its press materials, and thatÂ’s completely fine. With 467 horsepower and 389 pound-feet of torque, the 5.0-liter V8 isnÂ’t going to outrun the high-powered Germans in a drag race. However, all of that power is usable on the street, right up to the glorious 7,300 rpm redline. A loud exhaust complements the loud styling on our particular test car. We had the honor of driving the 10th Anniversary Edition, which is limited to just 100 vehicles in the U.S. You pay extra for the special appearance, but man it looks good. Matte Nebula Gray paint wraps the exterior, while unique Fuji Blue leather trim covers the interior. Blue Brembo brake calipers behind BBS forged wheels keep the blue theme going on the outside. Michelin Pilot Sport tires come standard, providing an impressive amount of grip for the big sedan. Much of the magic to this anniversary car is thanks to the stunning blue interior — it even has blue carbon fiber and blue suede trim. Rear-wheel drive is the only way it comes — same goes for the eight-speed automatic transmission. The final price for our GS F 10th Anniversary Edition car comes out to $93,080. ThatÂ’s after the $5,000 anniversary package, $1,380 Mark Levinson audio and $900 head-up display. It still comes in under $100,000, which makes it cheaper than the M5 or Mercedes-AMG E 63 S sedan. Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: I'm going to start off with something that might not be universal: I love this interior. I think the blue Lexus used here is to die for. The white stripes going down the center of the blue leather sport seats mirrors the blue steering wheel with white at top center. Those seats are actually pretty comfortable and super supportive, too. The blue microsuede-type liner on the dash is a little much, but in this case, a little much feels entirely appropriate. The blue stitching and even the blue-accented carbon fiber trim pop in this interior, mirroring the hint of blue spied on the brake calipers through the dark wheels outside. Finally, you might hate the mouse-type infotainment interface (this one managed to not piss me off entirely), but it looks cool inside this GS F. Lexus GS F 10th Anniversary Edition View 7 Photos Assistant Editor, Zac Palmer: I love that Lexus still uses big, naturally aspirated V8s in its performance cars.
Lexus teases Frankfurt Motor Show concept... is it the RC Coupe?
Tue, 20 Aug 2013With the teaser image of the concept car above and the announcement that Lexus will be premiering it to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Tuesday, September 10, you know pretty much what we know. The Japanese luxury brand has decided to to say nothing more. Picture sleuthers have, however, suggested that it is a conceptual preview of either the RC Coupe or the hotter RC-F that will be revealed in Tokyo, or, less likely, the coming NX crossover - and that covers all the bases that we know of.
Along with that, Europeans will get to lay eyes on the GS 300h for the first time, the sport sedan powered by Lexus' 2.5L hybrid powertrain. You'll find a skosh more information in the press release below.
2018 Technology of the Year Award | We chat with Lexus about the LC 500h's hybrid system
Mon, Jan 15 2018Every year, Autoblog editors test dozens and dozens of the newest vehicles available, sometimes even before they're available. From those vehicles, we select the ones we think provide the most innovative technology in the industry. Then we pare the list down to the very best, test them again, and vote on our winner for Technology of the Year. This year, Lexus's multi-stage hybrid system — as tested in the LC 500h — came out ahead of the rest of the finalists. We chose the 2018 Detroit Auto Show to hand over the award to Lexus Group Vice President and General Manager Jeff Bracken. He was kind enough to sit down with Autoblog Senior Editor Alex Kierstein and Green Editor John Snyder at the Lexus stand to talk about the hybrid system, what it does, and what it means for the future of Lexus and Toyota. Check out the video above, and follow along for all our coverage from the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, where we are taking a look at all of the new cars and technology that we'll see in the near future. Perhaps the next winner of Autoblog's Technology of the Year award is sitting somewhere on the Detroit show floor.
