This Range Rover is white with white leather interior, it is the supercharged model and it has all the luxury features and options manufactured by Land Rover. This truck runs and drives perfect no no visible damage to it. Navigation and heated seats are just a drop in the bucket to the list of features with this unit.    If Bentley built an SUV, we imagine the cabin would resemble a Range Rover\'s. Fit and finish is exemplary, from the wood trim to the map pockets to the perfectly fitted metal plates around the A/C vents. Metallic accents on the stalk ends and gear selector tie in nicely with the dash and seat side trim, and the various buttons and switches have a certain heft and action that exude quality.
   Excellent steering feel and weighting make this bruiser easy, even pleasant to pilot, though the handling is on the soft side, with enough body roll to remind you that blitzing apexes isn\'t this vehicle\'s forte. But as the owner of a 2003 Range Rover (Edmunds.com President Jeremy Anwyl) pointed out after driving the two Rovers back-to-back, \"the new suspension is ...even smoother, but with less body roll when cornering.\" This supports Range Rover\'s claim that the Supercharged benefits from a 15-percent increase in roll resistance.
    This Range Rover\'s standard Harmon Kardon system features a 710-watt amplifier, a six-disc CD changer (mounted in the glovebox) and no less than 14 speakers to distribute the sound.Each front door contains separate tweeter, midrange and bass speakers; each rear door houses tweeter and bass speakers; a midrange speaker sits in the middle of the dash while the cargo hold contains a 10-inch subwoofer and a pair of midranges.State-of-the-art seven-channel sound technology contrasts with the old-school location of the six-disc CD changer. The faceplate is clean and uncluttered, as most audio controls are accessed via the nav screen. Steering wheel controls allow one to change channels/tracks and adjust volume.

Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?

The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.

"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."

Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.

Care for a bit more proof that the Jaguar Land Rover portfolio of vehicles is the best it's ever been? Well, the Indian-owned pair of brands saw a record year in 2013, while 2014 has seen a 14-percent increase in sales. The crazy thing is, though, is that figure could be even higher, provided the company had the production capacity.
JLR is running a six-month waiting list on two of its most popular models, the Range Rover Sport (above) and Range Rover. According to Mark White, the company's chief technologist for body engineering, the blame can be placed on the paint shop at the company's Solihull factory, in the UK.
"We will probably max out the paint shop before we max out the body shop. Putting the second body shop in has given us the flexibility to ebb and flow the different models that go through there and meet the capacity demands we've got," White told Automotive News. "However, you always hit a bottleneck somewhere. And the paint shop is probably going to be the next biggest obstacle."
