Land Rover Discovery Se-7, Low-miles, Rear A/c, 2" Lift, Rr Seats, Solid Frame! on 2040-cars
Plattsburgh, New York, United States
Selling my Ultra-Low mile SE-7 Discovery, just 85k original miles. It has 3-rows of seating, Upgraded Range Rover Classic seats, 2" mild lift, 2-moon roofs, tires are like new, tow pkg.....It's a great truck for bad weather, rain or snow. It's very safe on the road so you and your family can walk away from an accident. It has been re painted, very nice job!, a few years ago. This was just to freshen up the paint, no accident as you can have a vehicle history report when you purchase this vehicle. It does have the normal rover drips that's to be expected. Frame is solid with only rust area on the passenger side rocker/floor. It does have a minor exhaust leak, doesn't bother me. I just replaced the MAF sensor and charged the battery. It doesn't get any use since I purchased a new truck 2 months ago. I figure I sell this and buy a new riding lawn mower!
Anyway, ask questions if you have any. Make me an early offer to buy. There is no warranty, sold as is. You can come drive and inspect it prior to bidding. Thanks |

Jaguar Land Rover creates new Special Operations division for halo vehicles, bespoke commissions
Fri, 13 Jun 2014Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a new division of the British manufacturer will be dedicated to "bespoke commissions," as well as heritage products and apparel. Oh, and the new Special Operations division will also be behind JLR's halo cars from now on.
It's that last one that is the most tantalizing, as the last real halo product to see production from Jaguar was the XJ220. The Range Rover, meanwhile, has always had its own kind of halo reputation, although the Land Rover brand itself has never really gotten into the game with a dedicated model.
According to JLR, the new halo models will focus on ultra-high performance and luxury with a limited run of vehicles. The bespoke models, meanwhile, will give the wealthiest customers full sway over how vehicles are outfitted, with unique paints, trims and other accessories. The new SpecOps division will be run by John Edwards.
Is Jaguar's 3 Series-fighter the brand's last chance?
Wed, 16 Oct 2013The upcoming line of compact 3 Series-fighters from Jaguar, often referred to as the Jaguar XS, could consist of a sedan, wagon and possibly a coupe and GT model (think BMW 5 Series GT). The car's all-aluminum architecture also will provide the basis for two new sports utility vehicles. Just how important is the much-touted "baby Jag" project to parent company Jaguar Land Rover? A JLR executive reportedly says the brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS, codenamed X760, Autocar reports.
The brand's survival is directly linked to the success of the XS.
"If the X760 fails, it will probably be the end for the [Jaguar] brand," the executive says. But Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar's global brand director, claims Jaguar will "build the most advanced, most efficient, most refined car in that [compact luxury sedan] segment. Not almost as good as, but better than the best in the world."
Jaguar and Land Rover to consolidate dealerships
Thu, 29 Nov 2012Jaguar and Land Rover are set to merge their sales facilities, according to Inside Line. Jaguar Land Rover North America President Andy Gross says 45 percent of Jaguar owners also have an SUV in their stable, so it makes sense to give customers as much exposure to the cat's high-riding cousins and possible. The number of overall outlets will remain the same, and the brands will reportedly remain separate on the showroom floor, however.
So far, just one dealer has made the move to combine under the roof of one 68,000 square-foot facility in Paramus, New Jersey (above), though a further 20 are ready to make the shift and become Jaguar Land Rover outlets. Gross believes the shift is necessary so that his company's dealer network will accurately reflect the company's products. We'll see how cozy the brands are when Jaguar starts rolling out its own SUVs in a few years.
