IF YOU ARE INTERESTED EMAIL ME AT: carloscccoaster@f1fans.net .
This is a 2 owner car that I purchased in May of 2006 with 1500 miles on it. It has been meticulously maintained
by Lamborghini Chicago and Lamborghini Gold Coast. Recent full service completed in July of 2015, new battery
installed at that time.
Color: Grigio Altair
Interior: Grigio Sirius
Transmission: eGear (72% clutch life remaining)
Alcantara Headliner
Full power seats
Heated Seats
Glass Bonnet
Lamborghini Car Cover
Lamborghini integrated battery tender installed in 2007
Stock sound system upgraded to Pioneer touch screen with navigation, back up camera, satellite radio and cell phone
blue tooth (original speakers and radio will be included in the sale). Speakers were also upgraded and a subwoofer
was installed.
This Gallardo is in exceptionally great shape and has probably only seen rain 2 times in the 9 years I have owned
it. It was very lightly driven and is likely one of the lowest mile 2004's available.
I have all books, manuals and both keys.

Chinese patent filing may mean Lamborghini Urus closer to production
Sun, 17 Feb 2013The Urus SUV still hasn't received the official green light for production, but that hasn't stopped Lamborghini from protecting its performance crossover in the land of stolen vehicle designs. These patent drawings submitted in China show what appear to be the Urus in the same concept form that we first saw last year at the Beijing Motor Show.
Last we heard, the Volkswagen Group had put development of the Urus on hold even though, more recently, the Bentley EXP 9 F (aka, the Falcon) has reportedly been given the nod. Although the existence of these patent images don't necessarily mean the Urus is going into production, they are at least another excuse to debate the SUV's stealth-bomber-style lines.
Wild one-off Lamborghini Sogna for sale at $3M [w/videos]
Tue, 10 Dec 2013The Lamborghini Countach was the dream car for many teens and pre-teens in the 1980s, but at least one Japanese man thought there was room for improvement. As the story goes, Ryoji Yamazaki had a dream of a supercar as a 13-year-old, and at the age of 41, he used his design studio, Art & Tech, to create the Sogna in 1991.
Yamazaki unveiled the Sogna at the 1991 Geneva Motor Show as a rebodied Countach with intentions of selling it in limited production, but thankfully - or sadly, depending how you look at it - the $1.6 million (1991 price) coachbuilt supercar never made it into production. The Geneva show car was a rolling chassis, and the only other example that was produced was a fully operational version, shown above, which was unveiled at the 1994 Essen Motor Show. This car from Essen is now listed for sale on James Edition for 2.38 million euros, or around $3.25 million USD.
With its oddball styling and kiwi green paint, the Sogna was likely doomed from the start, but it still boasts the Countach's full powertrain including the 448-horsepower, 5.2-liter V12 and a claimed top speed of 186 miles per hour. Check out more images of the 1994 Sogna at James Edition and Enmann, and we also found a couple videos, which are posted below, of the car's early development.
LAPD now on patrol with its own Lamborghini Gallardo
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Last year, the Dubai Police made news by purchasing a string of supercars to act as patrol vehicles around the city. Apparently, a generous family in Los Angeles thought that the LAPD needed to keep up with the Joneses, because they recently donated use of their Lamborghini Gallardo. Unfortunately, you won't be seeing the Italian coupe in any high-speed chases, as it's being used exclusively for display at charity events.
The Lamborghini has arrived courtesy of Nathalie and Travis Marg, proprietors of telecommunications contractor Light Source 1 Inc. They approached the force with the idea to use the supercar because "they admire what the LAPD does for the community," said LAPD Sergeant Frank Preciado to Autoblog. Galpin Auto Sports was tapped for the custom wrap to make it look like a police car, and according to Sgt. Preciado, the police force can use the car indefinitely. Importantly, the LAPD says no tax dollars have been expended on this vehicle.
The LAPD Gallardo will be on display to the public at Los Angeles County Air Show on March 21-22, and Sgt. Preciado said the police have already received many inquiries to display the car at other events. The police have even set up dedicated Twitter and Instagram accounts to promote its newest addition. Too bad it won't be catching speeders anytime soon.
