I am selling my 2012 Wrangler Sport due to me moving to Chicago with no space for it. The Vehicle has the Pentastar 3.6L with automatic 5spd trans 4WD. Factory options include BOTH hardtop and soft top, connectivity group, tow package, engine block heater, and the infinity sound system. The vehicle has the following add-ons, 3.5" Rough Country lift, Rugged Ridge front bumper with Warn M8000 winch, Factory Rubicon Rock Rails, powercoated factory wheels, Goodyear MTR 35" Tires at 70% life remaining, Viar On Board air system with ports front and rear and 2.5 gallon tank, Air horns, Rear ARB air locking differential with 35 SPLINE axles, Front and Rear teraflex differential covers. The front axle has been sleeved and gusseted with greasable balljoints installed. A CB radio was installed on the roof in the interior. The vehicle had additonal rust proofing done when it was purchased new. The Vehicle has 4.10 gears front and back (Using Factory Mopar Gears). Teraflex exhaust spacers were installed. The Jeep rides down the highway like a car and drives great with no wobble nor shaking at higher speeds. The speedo was calibrated with a AEV pro-cal which will be included with the vehicle.
The vehicle is in excellent shape like new except for the following: The wheels are scratched on the outside and one on the spokes due to them being on my previous wrangler which was off-roaded. This vehicle was off road only once. The hardtop is scratched up slightly due to parking near trees.
Also, the title is still being held by Ally Financial. They are aware that I am attempting to sell the vehicle and can either reassign the loan or will release the title when it is payed off. I will accept that the payoff be sent directly to them and the remainder to me if the buyer wishes.

Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.
Are we about to see a real SUV revival?
Wed, Mar 23 2016Now that the marketplace has been oversaturated with cute-utes, crossovers, and CUV coupes, are we about to see a resurgence of real, honest-to-God SUVs? Ummm... maybe. The stars seem to be aligning in that direction, at least that's the sense I'm getting. We know an all-new Jeep Wrangler is only a few auto shows away; and that Jeep is about to introduce a new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk for 2017, in the same rugged spirit of the successful Cherokee and Renegade Trailhawks. Ford has hinted at a neo-Bronco, after showing the concept above in 2014 to wet the mouths of all those Duck Dynasty-types out there. And, and... wait for it... I recently learned that Subaru sent a questionnaire out to some Forester owners asking if they might be interested in an off-road package if it were offered. The items listed were pretty hardcore, serious stuff, such as: integrated tow/recovery hooks, additional ground clearance, more rugged wheels, skid plates, altimeter, front-view off-road camera, improved approach and departure angles, advanced differentials, Inclinometer, full-size spare tire, upgraded off-road suspension components, more aggressive tires, off-road driving mode (engine, transmission, throttle, and steering settings), more rugged styling, low-range gearing, and a more advanced traction management system. Folks that's not my wish list (well, actually it is), but those are words from Subaru, asking if that's what customers would like to see. Need proof? Go to the SubaruForester.org website. It's in a discussion there. So... no promises or guarantees here, and feel free to call me a rumormonger if you like; but the next few years could prove very interesting for those who actually do go off road. If this pans out, remember, you read it here first. Related Video: Image Credit: Ford Ford Jeep Subaru Crossover SUV Off-Road Vehicles open road
