This is a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon LJ. This is the last year of the TJ /LJ. The Jeep is overall White with a Khaki interior. The Jeep has 4,054 original miles and came from a ranch in New Mexico. The Jeep is equipped with all of the Rubicon options to include, cruise control, a 6 CD changer,a/c, an automatic transmission, dual top group, the soft top was just put on for the first time a month ago and the windows are still in the box, I installed a 2” Old Man Emu suspension and it has brand new 33” Goodyear Kevlar MTR’s. It has the full hard top with rear wiper and defrost, oem half doors, oem full doors, Husky floor liners in the front. No winters, salt, mud, garaged, etc. I am down sizing my TJ/LJ collection. There are not many 2006 out there with only 4,000 miles since new. This is a very nice Jeep. I am picky so I will say it has a few scuffs on the wheel flares, 2 tiny dings on the hood that are so small, the camera doesn’t show them, and 1 small ding under the license plate. I will accept $500 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end and the balance within 4 days paid by bank wire transfer, a well known Bank cashiers check, or Cash. I can assist with shipping at buyers expense. The Jeep is located in one of my buildings in Harbor Springs, MI 49740. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 248-939-3986 or e-mail me through Ebay. Thank you and good luck.

Watch this 9-year-old drive Jeep Wrangler off-road [w/poll]

Wed, 28 May 2014

This nine-year-old girl might be better at rock crawling than some people twice her age. But is it worth putting her in danger to do it? According to her father on the Jeep Experience Facebook page, her name is Faith, and she has been offroading with her family since she was two. At nine years old, she's now driving her dad's Jeep over the rocks by herself.
As you can see she's belted in and under her father's direct supervision and guidance. She shows immense confidence for someone her age and follows her dad's instructions on exactly what to do. Although, this could still be a very dangerous situation if something went wrong.
Previously, we saw a similar video with a six-year-old on a motorcycle driving on public roads through the desert. Voters decided by only a six-point margin that the adult should be in trouble for letting the kid ride the bike. Here, we have a slightly older child driving a vehicle off road. Where do you fall in this case? Is it still wrong to hand over control to a child? Let us know in the poll below and scroll down to watch the video.

Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?

Thu, 15 Nov 2012

Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.

Chrysler, Nissan looking into claim that their cars are industry's most hackable

Sun, 10 Aug 2014

A pair of cyber security experts have awarded the ignominious title of most hackable vehicles on American roads to the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, 2014 Infiniti Q50 and 2015 Cadillac Escalade.
Charlie Miller and Chris Valasek are set to release a report at the Black Hat hacking conference in Las Vegas, Automotive News reports. The two men found the Jeep, Caddy and Q50 were easiest to hack based not on actual tests with the vehicles, but a detailed analysis of systems like Bluetooth and wireless internet access - basically, anything that'd allow a hacker to remotely gain access to the vehicle's systems.
Considering this lack of hands-on testing, the pair acknowledge that "most hackable" could be a relative term - they point out that the vehicles may actually be quite secure.
