Selling my 1999 Jeep Wrangler 2.5. 141200 miles. Clean title in hand. Comes with a soft top only. It is lifted with Mickey Thompson tires and rims. Tires are fairly new and still have great tread left. Brand new battery, new wipers, fresh oil change, brand new Virginia inspection, new muffler and exhaust system, fresh differential oil change front and back. Had a shop take a look at the body last month. Entire thing is in great condition. Transmission shifts great and 4 wheel drive gears change smooth. Have paperwork documenting all the services mentioned above except the oil and diff fluid (Did it myself). Vehicle has been off-roading two times, but only down flat trials with some mud and water pits. No rockcrawling or any other extreme off-roading done. Everything in the interior is good. Seats have covers on them. Aftermarket CD player with Amp and speakers. All wiring is good to go. Just hook it up to battery and you are good to go. Jeep looks great for being 14 years old.
The back seats are not installed at the moment. I do have them and the mounting brackets, but they are currently not at my location. I recently moved to my current residence from another state and left them behind due to space. I will be more than happy to get them for you once the Jeep sells. I am planning on going back to my previous residence to get my other vehicle and a few other things. We can have something in writing showing that I owe you seats. The check engine light comes and goes. Ran the code for it. Comes back as an emissions leak. It is either the gas cap not sealing properly (notorious on Jeeps) or a tear in a evap hose above the gas tank. The hose is not expensive, its just dropping the tank in order to check it is a pain You are responsible for pickup and/or delivery. I live in Midlothian, Virginia. It is about 15 minutes west of Richmond. You are more than welcome to contact me if you live near this area and come check out the vehicle yourself. That is all I can think of. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask. I will respond as soon as possible and try to answer your questions as best I can. Thanks for looking |

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler will look a lot like the 2017 Jeep Wrangler
Mon, Nov 7 2016JL Wrangler Forums suggests the next-generation Wrangler will be restyled in an evolutionary way that maintains the off-roader's classic looks yet adds new features. The forum used intelligence from spy photos and leaked images to assemble renderings of the new Wrangler. They show that the front end is still classically Jeep, but with modern updates. The LED headlights and turn signals revealed in FCA drawings are noticeable changes. An interesting touch is just behind the rear bumper, where there appears to be an air dam for aerodynamics. There's still a gap between it and the front fenders to keep the old-school look intact. The grille, windshield, and hood are also more raked for the sake of aerodynamics. At the back, the lights follow the FCA drawings as well, though the reverse lights from those illustrations appear to be absent. The square taillights are also shown on the truck variant, along with the plastic fender flares of the SUV version. Spy photos of the Wrangler pickup have shown a streamlined box with integrated taillights akin to the Ram, but it's likely to be a placeholder until the final design is selected. The sides of both models also feature more squared-off details in the top and door handles, generally with beveled corners for a more modern look. The top is where things get fuzzy. The new model might lose its removable top altogether, in favor of removable panels similar to the Jeep Renegade. JL Wrangler Forums illustrated how this could work in the above image. The roof can be removed in sections, and the rear-most windows can also be taken out. The overall effect is similar to that of a current Wrangler Unlimited. There is a potential drawback to this system, though. All of these hard panels will have to be left somewhere. And unlike the current model, this one wouldn't have a soft-top back-up when the weather turns. It's hard to say for sure if this design will make it to production. FCA has consistently and effectively hidden this part of its Wrangler prototypes since they were first spotted. At this point, we can only speculate on how the top will function. Otherwise, these renderings seem plausible, and we should know how accurate they are when the Wrangler makes its expected debut next year. The new Wrangler will likely have some aluminum body panels, an 8-speed automatic and an available diesel powertrain. Jeep teases its Easter Safari Wrangler concepts
Wed, Mar 29 2017Every year ahead of the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Jeep shows off some wild concepts based on Jeep products. They usually don't make it to production, but they do get the fans very, very excited. If you'll remember last year, the company showed off a Hellcat-powered Wrangler concept called the Trailcat and some retro-inspired pickups, like a neo-Forward Control and one resembling the classic military Kaiser M715. This year, we're getting a sneak preview of two of the concepts Jeep will be showing off. Details are sketchy and the images aren't very revealing, but such is the way of teasers. Let's start with the Switchback, which appears to be a Wrangler Unlimited that features metal doors with large cutaways in them. They look like a cross between factory metal half-doors and the tubular trail doors that are a popular aftermarket add-on. It also appears to feature a bumper-mounted winch and a special top with a roof basket. The second concept is the Quicksand, which appears to be a two-door Wrangler with cut-down fenders, a roll cage, and no B-pillar aft of the door. Could it be a dune buggy of sorts, a Jeep analogue to the Baja Bugs or Meyers Manxs so popular in the 1960s and 1970s? It's hard to tell, but all will be revealed soon. Related Video:
Blake Anderson drives an over-the-top patriotic Jeep
Thu, Jan 15 2015Comedian Blake Anderson is seeing growing success as one of the stars and co-creators of the Comedy Central show Workaholics. Not surprisingly, when you get your own TV show, there's a deep desire to celebrate with a big purchase, a car perhaps. Anderson did just that, but as opposed to plunking his money down on a Porsche or Mercedes-Benz, he took a much more patriotic route. Anderson described his ride as "an American Jeep" in an interview with Conan O'Brien, and he didn't mean that it was from the AMC years of the off-road brand's ownership. Instead, this one is as patriotic as they come thanks to a beautifully regal bald eagle covering the hood with the nation's flag as the background running up at least to the windshield. Hear Anderson's entire story of buying this red, white and blue off-roader in the video above.
