I actually purchased this Jeep on Ebay in March 2010 for $10,500. The person I bought it from restored it and began customizing it. He had done pretty much everything except putting a new small block V-8 in it when he decided to sell it.He indicated the 4 cyl engine needed replaced and that he felt it would not last long before needing rebuilt. I have driven it for 3 yrs and had planned on putting a 350 in it but I just never had the time. The Body is in excellent condition. There are almost no signs of rust anywhere and it actually runs great. The motor will need some work in the near future it drips some oil and for as long as I have owned it has as well. Other than that it really runs good and is definitely an eye catcher wherever I go in it. There is a NOS tank in the back, it blows everyone's mind when they see it. It is actually a base speaker though :) The Warn wench on the front works but has never been used. I never used this Jeep to 4 wheel. Just liked cruising around in it. It has Simpson Racing Seats in it and the Harness straps. The Driver Seat left leg velour needs fixed. It has worn from me rolling out of it quite often. I had this Jeep at my Florida home for the past 2 years but just recently sold my home there and I brought it back to Indiana just a couple of weeks ago and I don't have the room for it here really.
The Jeep comes as you see it. I never purchased a top for it because I had only intended on driving it around on nice sunny days. I had a lot of fun with it that is for sure!

Jeep's new Chip Away commercial has us hunting Al Pacino's back catalog

Chrysler has done a pretty good job as of late turning its television commercials into pep talks or rallying cries, but for its first ad for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it turned to Al Pacino's inspirational speech from the movie Any Given Sunday. In the movie, Pacino's character talks about how football is a game of inches, but the commercial, titled Chip Away, focuses more on the attention to detail that Jeep has exhibited on its updated flagship SUV.
Centering around the newest Grand Cherokee model, the luxurious $47,995 Summit trim level, the commercial shows off some of the hand-stitched leathers and real metal and wood accents found inside the cabin. Check out the new 60-second spot by scrolling below.
