Too pretty for trail riders and too ugly for anyone else. It's in that awkward state where it could go either way. The engine and transmission are great. Runs perfectly, and has actually been a daily driver for me. I commute a ways to work, though, and need something with better mpg. This was going to be a summer project but I just need a smaller vehicle, anyway. The only major repair needed is an exhaust. Everything else is superficial. Here's the lowdown...
Interior is leather and is NICE. The floor rug has been removed and replaced with Rhinoliner, however, as the previous owner intended to off road it.
Electrical has been disconnected to locks and windows during replacement of the doors and is still not hooked up.
The replacement doors will include original lock mechanisms and driver door includes original interior panel.
Tires have some dry rot, but have good tread and have been driven fine for months.
AC works, but is not cold.
Heat works fine.
4WD works fine.
No radio.
That's about it. Like I said, it ain't pretty, but it runs great and with a little work will make a fine vehicle, regardless of what you want to do with it.

Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango to lose color options temporarily
Wed, 19 Nov 2014In the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee or Dodge Durango? Well, if you fancy a more expressive color for your new SUV, you'd better get your order in, or plan on waiting until well into 2015.
The SUVs will be limited to just four monochromatic shades - black, white, silver and gray - until at least February, thanks to an upgrade to the paint shop at the two vehicles' Jefferson North factory. For the Grand Cherokee, that means it's losing more than half its color palette while the Durango is dropping two-thirds of its color catalog.
The loss of colors is inconvenient, but the upgrade will have a slightly bigger effect on the overall supply of SUVs, as Chrysler will need to end its relentless build pace at the factory for a three-week shutdown starting on December 22. The good news for fans of the SUVs is that once the work is completed, we should see a gradual expansion of the color palettes for both the Durango and Grand Cherokee, beyond even what's offered now.
