2001 Jeep Cherokee Classic Sport 4x4, Only 62k, Very Clean, No Rust on 2040-cars
Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, United States
This one is for all you Jeep fanatics out there that love the reliable 4.0L and the classic styling of the Cherokee. It's my 2001 Cherokee Classic with just 62,000 garage kept miles.
Mechanically it's everything you'd expect from a 4.0L. Motor sounds healthy through all the RPM's. Transmission shifts beautifully through all the gears. Drives well down the road. Steering and brakes feel good. A/C is ice cold. All the mechanicals work as they should. Seems to have been well cared for over the years. Cosmetically it's just as nice. Paint shines nice in the sun. Body is nice and straight with just your typical door dings here and there. Has a couple scratches around but overall very nice for the age. No rust underneath or on the body. Interior is nice and clean and smells fresh. Seats, carpet and headliner are all in good shape. Overall this is a very nice Jeep and it definitely shows. It does have your typical ding and scratch but you are buying the 62,000 miles. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call at 717-823-3349. My name is Zach. If you would like to see it in person please call and make an appointment. I am only human and may have missed something that is important to you so please ask any questions before buying. A $500 non refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction. This car is owned and being sold by Platinum Car and Truck Sales in Elizabethtown, PA |

Finding surfing spots in the UK is tough work, even in a Jeep
Sun, 06 Jul 2014You truly have to love surfing to practice the sport in the United Kingdom. The area isn't exactly teeming with warm beaches full of sunbathers, and absolutely no easy spots to find big waves. To be a UK surfer, you need to be a fearless adventurer, not to mention quite lucky. And driving a Jeep might help, too.
Surfers Oli Adams and Micah Lester are traveling around the British Isles in a Jeep Wrangler Overland trying to find the best surf spots out there. These guys don't fit the laid-back surfer stereotype, but that's because finding waves in the UK is hard work. They say that the waves at some of these spots only exist for about three hours every year when the current and winds are just right.
To find these surf spots, the Jeep's offroad capabilities are paramount. In some areas, as you'll see in the video, there isn't even a beach, just jagged rocks. It would be like the movie Endless Summer, that is, if it could start snowing at any moment. These guys are clearly dedicated to their sport.

Jeep teases pair of Moab concepts early
Tue, 19 Mar 2013With the 47th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari coming up at the end of this month, Jeep is preparing to roll out six new off-road-ready concept vehicles. The first two being teased are the Jeep Grand Cherokee "Trailhawk II" concept and the Jeep Wrangler "Slim," and while we have no information on either, we at least get an idea of what they'll look like.
We can't tell why this Wrangler is called Slim, but it has a nice black-and-red paint scheme with a serious off-roading front bumper and five-spoke beadlock wheels. There's even less we can figure out about the Grand Cherokee's Trailhawk II concept except that it appears to be painted up in the same Crusher Orange paint job as the recently introduced SRT Viper TA. We'll likely more of these as well as peeks at the other Moab concepts as we get closet to this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, which will be held March 23 through 31.
