You are bidding on a clean, garage kept 1976 CJ7. I have owned this for over 15 years and has been adult driven. It has never been wrecked. It has original

miles, paint, engine and body  work since I have owned it. It maybe gets about 100 miles a year from recreational rides around town. I have added a

custom marine I Pod/cd player with waterproof speakers and a soft top. I  also had a kill switch installed in case of theft as well. This model was only built full

time 4x4, so I had a 2x4 switch. This helps for easier maneuverability and a safer ride.  I had pilot and co-pilot shoulder/lap harness installed for safety and the

backseat has lap belts. I had the complete inside Rhino Lined for  protection from all seasonal elements. I also have the original hard top (black) and doors

(gray) in storage. It could use a full service since it sits more than its driven, but the battery is good and stays on a trickle charge.  I do have a pic where it has

minor damage on the passenger rear side but that's it. I DONT KNOW IF THE PAINT/MILES ARE ORIGINAL. If you don't have a 100% rating, I can cancel your bid

at anytime. You can contact me @ 901-361-3342 or jwm012276@yahoo.com  Please let me know if you have questions and happy bidding!!

Jeep teases pair of Moab concepts early

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

With the 47th annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari coming up at the end of this month, Jeep is preparing to roll out six new off-road-ready concept vehicles. The first two being teased are the Jeep Grand Cherokee "Trailhawk II" concept and the Jeep Wrangler "Slim," and while we have no information on either, we at least get an idea of what they'll look like.
We can't tell why this Wrangler is called Slim, but it has a nice black-and-red paint scheme with a serious off-roading front bumper and five-spoke beadlock wheels. There's even less we can figure out about the Grand Cherokee's Trailhawk II concept except that it appears to be painted up in the same Crusher Orange paint job as the recently introduced SRT Viper TA. We'll likely more of these as well as peeks at the other Moab concepts as we get closet to this year's Moab Easter Jeep Safari, which will be held March 23 through 31.

Another crazy custom Jeep Wrangler spotted in Morocco

Sun, 03 Mar 2013

What in the world is the vehicle you see above? Well, um... yeah. We have no idea. According to the video description from YouTube, however, it's a modified Jeep Wrangler, and it comes from the same person who created the equally insane side-by-side merged Wrangler you saw here.
We can clearly make out the Wrangler-shaped passenger compartment up top, but as for the other bits and pieces that make up this rather amazing machine, your guess is as good as ours. At the very least, it seems to us that the car's wheelbase has been given a significant stretch, and the grille may have come from an International LoneStar Harley-Davidson Special Edition semi truck.
What other components are sourced from the massive International hauler? No idea. We suggest you check out the video below and draw your own conclusions. Oh, and if you've got any other ideas, feel free to let us know in the Comments.

Jeep gunning to build 250,000 Cherokees a year

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

Contrary to what a certain politician may have said last year about Jeep moving to China, the automaker is in fact doing the opposite, with plans to greatly increase the production capacity at its Toledo North Assembly plant in Ohio. The Detroit Free Press is reporting that there are big plans for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and Toledo North, as a local union president has informed the newspaper that Chrysler is planning to produce around 250,000 examples of the new midsize utility per year.
To put this number into context, 250,000 units is more than what Jeep Liberty sales totaled here over the last three years combined. Even taking into consideration that the 250,000 units will be distributed beyond US borders, that's an ambitious volume figure full-stop - and that's without taking into consideration the new Cherokee's love/hate design. In its favor, though, Jeep is making remarkable inroads globally as of late, and the Cherokee's size could work well in emerging markets. To get that kind of output from Toledo's Cherokee assembly line, Chrysler will reportedly hire 1,105 new workers - that's in addition to the 200 workers already being hired to build the popular Jeep Wrangler, which is itself expected to top 220,000 units this year.
