I am re listing this Jeep because of two deadbeat non paying bidders. If you don't have the money, the permission or the decency to communicate and actually follow through and pay for the Jeep please don't waste either of our time. But if you are serious and want a great Jeep this is it.

You are looking at a very nice, very clean, sharp looking and beautiful Jeep CJ-7 Laredo. I purchased this from the second owner who had owned it since 1986. He was an older gentleman who kept it in the garage and took exceptional care of it. It has been many years since I have seen such a nice original CJ in person. It has super low miles and it shows very well. It has had minor touch up and some minor paintwork over the years but nothing that takes away from the classic looks of a Jeep CJ. This Jeep is equipped with a smooth running 6cyl engine that is mated to a great shifting T5 five speed transmission. It shifts in and out of 4wheel drive smoothly and it is a pleasure to drive. It has the larger 20 gallon fuel tank, very nice for traveling any kind of distance. It has a working clock and tach, and intermittent wipers. The custom interior matched locking storage behind the rear seat is great for valuables when the top is off is great, as well as the rare roll bar storage pouches. This Jeep has a Weber carburator, and it also includes the origional Carter 2bbl and emissions equipment. The Jeep recently passed Utah emissions with no problem at all. This is a very cool, very clean, great running, fun to drive jeep that I feel anyone would be proud to own.

FCA recalls 210,000 new Jeeps and Dodges due to a brake issue

FCA is recalling some 210,000 vehicles in the U.S. and elsewhere over a possible braking issue. On this occasion, the recall is made less complicated by the fact that about one-third of the affected vehicles are so new, they still reside on dealer lots, making them easy to tally up and put right. The recall concerns 2018 Dodge Journeys, 2019 Jeep Cherokees and 2018-2019 Dodge Grand Caravans and 2018-2019 Jeep Compasses. Most were built in spring 2018, and the recall is related to a brake system component that failed to meet FCA specifications. Further information available on the NHTSA website details the issue, saying that insufficiently coated rear brake caliper pistons may cause gas pockets to form in the brake fluid of very new vehicles. This in turn can reduce rear brake performance — bubbles in brake lines are not desirable. FCA underlines that the brakes still function, but stopping distance can be affected. As a remedy, the brake systems are inspected and re-bled. The recall is slated to begin on Sept. 28. In addition to 154,337 vehicles in the United States, the recall concerns 19,066 units in Canada, some 900 in Mexico and some 35,500 vehicles on other markets. Autoblog readers, meet Hank, my 40-pound, six-year-old Shar Pei and Staffordshire Terrier mix, a combination also known as a Pit Bull. Pit Bulls and car enthusiasts have a lot in common. They're a little intimidating to your average man on the street, but at the end of the day all they want to do is feel the breeze in their ears. Dogs who love car rides are the ultimate enthusiasts, and Hank especially is a canine connoisseur of cars. There is nothing Hank likes more than to hop in and go for a ride. With an owner like me, he has developed refined tastes when it comes to cars. As our long-term Jeep Cherokee is about to leave the Autoblog Garage, and since the weather is warming back up, it's the perfect time to give our Autodog one last spin in his favorite Jeep. We wanted to see what a car ride looks like from a dog's perspective. Luckily, we have a cache of GoPros and plenty of cars on hand to give Hank one last chance to go for a window-down ride.
