Great, solid XJS. Tagged and insured, it's my daily driver. Runs perfectly. Been through the engine compartment and it's very clean.New fuel lines and water hoses. New radiator. Been converted to electric fans thermostatically controlled.Runs tops and does not leak or overheat.Steering rack and boots replaced.Brakes good, tyres fair with Pirellis. California (Santa Barbara) car. Not hit ,straight and good original paint.
History of the car is this. Was sold and used in Santa Barbara. Have a bundle of all service records. Car was parked up. It was bought by a Jaguar restoration shop for interior parts for a car they were restoring. They stripped the interior out, but because the car was nice, put it on the road as a shop car. Then, knowing I'm into XJS's, it came to me and I've driven it since while doing the engine bay mods. Originally, I was going to make it a 24 hours of lemons car but it's too nice.
There is one drivers seat in there, and a racing harness. The windows work.Lights and flashers all work. Wipers work.Fuel guage and charging guage work, but the other instruments don't at the moment, and I haven't looked into that yet.

Those words are from Jaguar Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark, and as true as they may be, it still stings a little bit. After all, we've been looking forward to the Jaguar C-X75 ever since word came from Jolly Olde that it was green-lit for a short production run.
Some of the cool bits and pieces the world will now be without: a powerful but relatively miserly 1.6-liter turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder engine, two electric motors driving all four wheels and a carbon fiber chassis developed by Williams F1. Sigh.
