"Rode Hard and Put Away Wet" a little rough around the edges but a great entry level buy! Lots of new updates: New radiator, new tires, new front end steering system, new upgraded aluminium engine Thermostat and housing (not the original plastic one!), new A/C Compressor and dryer, brand new 5-year battery, the center console is cracked/broken, but fixable, interior nice, clean, some scratches on exterior, nothing serious. Looks great from ten feet! A great low-cost starter Jag, with lots of things fixed and ready to go! Just bought a 2005 Jag Wagon, so must say goodbye. Have had this car more than two years, and had everything fixed that was needed. Awesome sound system, drives very smoothly, powerful engine. New A/C system is Totally Arctic! Would prefer to sell locally, no delivery. We can accept payment via cash, check or money order"

A little rough around the edges, but more has been spent on this 2002 Jaguar S-Type in the two years we have owned it than we are asking for. A great little 'starter' Jag that needs some TLC. Center console cracked and damaged due to break in attempt... New right rear window. Good tires with many miles left to go. Very tight, smooth and quiet ride.

2024 Jaguar F-Type ZP Edition is the end of the line

Wed, Oct 11 2023

The Jaguar F-Type is going to leave us after the 2024 model year wraps up, but it’s not saying goodbye without a final limited-edition model. Named the F-Type ZP Edition, Jaguar will make just 150 of these throughout the 2024 model year. Why “ZP” Edition? Jaguar says itÂ’s a callback to the first race-winning “Project ZP” E-Type vehicles that were campaigned directly after that modelÂ’s launch in 1961. There will be two specifications for potential owners to choose from. The first is Oulton Blue paint combined with a red and black interior, and the other option is Crystal Grey paint with a blue and black interior. Both models will have Porcelain White hand-painted racing-style roundels on the doors. WeÂ’ll also note that neither of the two available exterior paint options have been offered on the F-Type until now. Of course, the base car underneath all the appearance extras is an F-Type R with the 575-horsepower supercharged V8 engine. YouÂ’ll be able to choose either the coupe or convertible, and both body styles get unique 20-inch forged wheels with “ZP” etched into them shrouding black-painted calipers. YouÂ’ll also see ZP Edition branding on the fenders, sill plates and dashboard. Plus, each vehicle will get a “One of 150” SV Bespoke plaque on the interior. Pricing wasnÂ’t detailed by Jaguar, but if you want one, weÂ’d suggest getting in touch with a dealer sooner rather than later. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. Jaguar takes bite out of Mercedes' Magic Body Control chicken ad

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

We were quite impressed by Mercedes-Benz when it aired its Magic Body Control commercial, starring a group suitably funky chickens demonstrating their ability to jive to Diana Ross and the Supremes. Now, Jaguar has taken the opportunity to poke some fun at its German rival, releasing its own take on the Magic Body Control spot, and um, there's a big cat involved.
You'll really want to take a look at this video, which is just another sign that in terms of clever ads, Jaguar is doing quite well. We aren't sure if "Jaguar vs. Chicken" will make it onto TV any time soon, but it's still fun to see the British brand take the mickey out of Mercedes - it's rare to see automakers go after each other so bluntly in their marketing efforts. Scroll down to watch the video (we've also included a bonus video, Jag's recent "Cat In A Box" spot).

Jaguar's Callum refutes two XJ bodystyle rumor

Wed, 01 May 2013

Not long ago, we relayed word from Edmunds that Jaguar was planning to split its next-generation XJ sedan into two bodystyles - one model that continued the ambitious design approach fostered with the current X351-based model, and another, more upright model to better appeal to China's conservative design sensibilities.
We expressed some cynicism in the idea, noting that such a strategy "might catch more profits for the marque, but it might also represent a setback to design head Ian Callum's vision for a thoroughly modern Jaguar portfolio." Callum has been quite insistent in his belief that Jag needs to be a forward-thinking brand in terms of design, and the two-model strategy seemed to conflict with that idea. We tried to get some comment from Callum at that time, but were unable to reach him.
As it turns out, our cynicism was well-placed. Autocar says that while the next XJ will continue to have two wheelbases, Callum has denied the two-model talk, saying flatly: "I can't see us doing two bodystyles. The cost would be enormous and the message inconsistent. You have to believe in what you produce and to do two bodystyles would undermine that."
