2009 Infiniti Fx on 2040-cars
Pepperell, Massachusetts, United States
Just email me at: romanrddunham@ukfashion.org .
I purchased the vehicle in April of 2010 from a reputable Infiniti dealership in my local area. I am the second
owner which is also shown in the vehicle history report.
It has always been serviced at my local Infiniti Dealer where I had purchased it. I do have all the documentation
if needed.
Never been involved in an accident. The paint is nearly perfect. I've always been known to take care of my
vehicles. That being said it has been washed daily and detailed twice a year for paint protection.
I do not smoke and neither did the previous owner. The interior is in excellent shape.
I've never had any mechanical issues with it. Infiniti/Nissan has always been known to be reliable. Starts up and
drives great.
The all wheel drive system makes it extremely valuable in snowy and icy conditions with a winter set of Bridgestone
Blizzak tires size 265/60R18 mounted on the factory 18" wheels included in the sale. The tires have over 90% tread
remaining.
This is the base model but does include more than you think:
Infotainment screen
Back-up camera
Heated & cooling leather seats
Leather wrapped steering wheel
Nissan GTR inspired paddle shifters
Bluetooth & XM radio
Infiniti i-pod adaptor
6 disc cd player
& much more !!
Interior extras include:
Black Weathertech floor mats for the drivers and passenger front ($110)
Infiniti illuminated kick plates ($270)
Weather-tech floor mats ($125)
Rear cargo area protector ($100)
Also the entire lighting inside the vehicle has been changed to LED lighting from superbrightleds.com
Exterior modifications include:
- Full Factory Aerodynamic kit from Infiniti which includes the front facia lip, 2 piece side skirts and the two
rear diffusers which are mounted on the rear bumper. All pieces are direct from Infiniti and came painted color
matched ($2150)
- The factory headlight housings were painted gloss black and projectors were painted umbria twilight to match the
vehicle color ($1200)
- Invidia cat-back exhaust ($830)
The rear tail lights were tinted for a dark smoked look ($150)
It has H&R springs for a 1.2-1.3 inch drop along with spacers for a wider stance/better handling
($250)
(I have the stock springs and factory exhaust that came with the vehicle and will be included with the sale if
you'd like)
I also purchased a used set of the 21 inch FX50 wheels online which retail over $1200 a piece new with the standard
size 265/45R21 Dunlop summer tires to enhance the looks of the vehicle. The tires currently have 4/32nds tread
remaining so I recommend they need to be replaced to pass local inspection laws.
I'm sure I'm forgetting more but will add to the list if I think of anything.
I have two sets of Infiniti key fobs along with all manuals and of course the clean title in hand for a fast easy
transaction.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic
Mon, Oct 24 2016Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. You can check out Consumer Reports entire reliability roundup, even without a subscription, here.
F1-inspired, 563-horsepower Infiniti Q60 Project Black S details finally revealed
Mon, Oct 1 2018Despite being first revealed at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti has been quite coy concerning the details of its F1-inspired hybrid super coupe, the Q60 Black S. That ends at this year's Paris Motor Show, where the company has finally spilled specific information about the car. It's technologically fascinating, even if the on-paper performance doesn't sound all that shocking. Total power output of the concept, now called Q60 Project Black S, is 563 horsepower, with final torque figures yet to be announced. That power comes from a combination of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 found in the Q60 Red Sport 400, along with a trio of motor-generator units that have similar functionality as those found in the Renault Sport F1 car's KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System). One large one is connected to the rear axle and generates electricity under deceleration like most hybrids, and it can deliver 160 horsepower under acceleration. The other two motor-generators are coupled to the turbochargers. They generate power under acceleration as the turbines spin. They also act as an electrical anti-lag system, spinning up the turbines when hitting the throttle again after it has been closed in order to provide maximum boost immediately. Power for and from these motor-generators is stored in a 4.4-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. All the powertrain's power goes through a seven-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels via a mechanical limited-slip differential. The company claims it can hit 62 mph in under 4 seconds. One of the advantages of this powertrain is that electricity is generated both on acceleration and deceleration, which helps maintain battery charge so the motor assistance can be used more of the time. How aggressive the car is with the electrical boost is determined by which mode the vehicle is in, Road, Quali (for qualifying), or Race. Road is the most conservative, whereas Quali is the most aggressive. The reason for this is that if you're qualifying, you have to go the fastest you can in a short amount of time. A digital simulation of the car running a lap in Quali mode at Circuit de Catalunya estimated it would use 15 percent of the battery charge. That means it could do a little over six laps in that mode and maintain full use of its electrical assists. Race mode conserves battery life more, since you'll want that power over the course of the race. A downside to the Project Black S hybrid system is that it's really heavy.
Infiniti QX50 confirmed for NY debut
Thu, Mar 26 2015It's been eight years now since Infiniti took the wraps off its smaller crossover. The model initially known as the EX was subsequently renamed the QX50 in the brand's broad nomenclature shakeup a couple of years ago, but now it's received what promises to be a comprehensive makeover to be revealed at the New York Auto Show next week. Though it hasn't given us any photos to go on (that's the current model pictured above), Infiniti has revealed that "the updated QX50 has a wheelbase increase of more than three inches, creating additional rear legroom and interior volume." We're also told to expect "new front and rear fascias, wheels, side sills, as well as a slightly higher ride stance." Nissan's rival to the likes of the BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 et al is offered Stateside with a 3.7-liter V6 driving the rear wheels or all four, but is offered overseas as well with a 3.0-liter turbodiesel. We'd expect the revised model to carry over the same engines, perhaps with some revisions, when it reaches showrooms this fall.
