Alpha Edition H3t Truck With Lots Of Extras...bad @ss Hummer!! Low Miles & Mint on 2040-cars
Bloomington, Indiana, United States
I have up for sale my 2009 mint condition rare Hummer H3T Alpha Edition truck! Only 57,000 miles. I love this truck, but my wife wants a lake house and I need to sell a couple vehicles to make her dream come true :). The previous owner was a Marine from Georgia and he babied this thing! I had it waxed two weeks ago and it mainly just sits in the garage. I love driving this sporty manly beast of a truck. This thing will take you anywhere safely. As you will notice, it has a lit of extras. I had the oil changed about 500 miles ago. Not much else to report...not a thing wrong with it...it is ready to drive! I do love the large sunroof. It gets a lot of looks. You don't see many H3's...and almost never see the H3T! Especially one this beautiful. If you have any questions, let me know..not much to tell on a truck this nice. I have kept it super clean since I have owned it. Interior is perfect. The last owner upgraded the exhaust so it has a slight rumble to it...but very subtle.
I am happy to let you stop by and check it out. If you want specific photos and/or videos of anything, let me know and I can make it happen. Cheers, John |

Humvee reborn on the battlefield... with a chimney?!
Fri, 09 Dec 2011The military's High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), better known to most of us as the Humvee, has already served a long and distinguished career in the battlefield, and there have been a number of replacements waiting in the wings to take over where the HMMWV left off. Or, should we say, leaves off... assuming that ever happens.
It seems that the Humvee is set to get a new lease on life as military budget constraints are forcing the government to reconsider its replacement. But there are still some pesky safety issues to work out before American soldiers will feel comfortable inside the confines of the off-road box on wheels.
As you're likely aware, improvised explosive devices are an ever-increasing threat to the lives of American troops serving overseas. The Humvee, which traces its design all the way back to the year 1984 when it first saw duty as a replacement for the long-running series of military Jeeps, has seen a number of incarnations over the years that added armor and improved safety, but the latest version may feature something hitherto unseen: a chimney.
SEMA 2010: Zero South Biodiesel Electric Hummer shows its guts

Zero South, a company that popped up at SEMA in 2008, is back again with its Biodiesel Electric Hummer. The heavily modified H1 rides on tracks at all four corners - a necessary modification, since this Hummer is designed for an expedition to the South Pole.
The trip is going to be documented by Chris Paine, who's best known for the film Who Killed the Electric Car? It was reported back in 2008 that the vehicle was going to be driven by Buzz Aldrin and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. The film is called Drive Around the World and was shot in 3D. Drive Around the World is also the name of an organization that works to inspire an urge to explore while raising money for various charities. The H1 shown above is Zero South's vehicle for participating in these expeditions.
Tupac Shakur's 1996 Hummer H1 is for sale
Sun, May 8 2016Tupac Shakur purchased this 1996 Hummer H1 on August 13,1996. This was just one month before the singer's death. It was his personal vehicle for a brief time and the last vehicle the rapper ever purchased. Now it's up for auction to the highest bidder. It comes with a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 engine, an automatic transmission, and only 10,101 miles on the odometer. There are also 38-inch Dick Cepek off-road lights, a 360-degree spotlight, grille guard, and diamond-plate bumpers. An external PA system with three sirens and 12-disc Clarion sound system are also part of the package. RELATED: See Images of the 2004 Hummer H1 There are two copies of the registration listing Tupac as the owner as well as an affidavit listing his mother, Afeni Shakur, as the property successor. The car was held in storage after Tupac's death, and eventually became a prize in a 2003 BET raffle. It is currently sitting in storage again in Vancouver, Canada awaiting the right buyer. RR Auction estimates its value at over $100,000 so it'll take some serious cash to put this car in your driveway.
