You viewing an immaculate 05 H2. It has all the original paint,  %100 accident free, and always parked indoors. This dynamic H2 is loaded with every conceivable option. I added a full third row seat and a inclosed  weather proof Hummer cargo carrier great for suitcases and skis. The H2 has a Viper smart start, auto start.I also had the interior redone in ostrich, snake, lizard, and alligator skin. "Everything" functions as it should or better.

I had Predator do the Duramax conversion with a "Factory crate brand new" drive train as well as modifications that make this one of a kind. "There were no used parts added of any nature". Don't take chances on a drivetrain from a wrecked vehicle with no history. In addition, some of the ad on's are head work by Diesel Head, Bosh injecters, Clevit stroked crank, cam, Banks turbo spools,  cold air,  Xclerator programable tuner by Pacific Performance Engineering, Kersh bored out exhaust manifols and five inch dyno-tuned free flow exhaust that sounds great and can cruise at 90 plus all day with no effort

I had New Process Gear put in hardened gears and bearings in the new tranfer-case (you can also now use full-time 2 wheel drive, and four wheel with a push of a button) and the same time New process Gear updated the new Allison 6 spd transmision now good for 850hp.  Moser 900hp 1 ton axles and bearings along with a better  4.56 gear ratio to accomidate the 38 series tires.  1 ton tie rod ends, I use all redline  fluids,

The complete entire drivetrain has 17k miles. No bugs to work out.  It offers oustanding performance with terrific mileage, far superior than a new h2 and perfect for long trips and anything in between. Everything is "new" down to the batteries, wheels and tires and there is well over $100k invested, no expense was spared and all the hard work has been done to perfection. The lucky new owner will be dazzled.

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes

Thu, 10 May 2012

When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.

Team Miller Fisher finishes the 20th Anniversary Rallye A"icha des Gazelles

Team Miller Fisher finishes the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles - Click above for high-res image gallery
Team Miller Fisher has crossed the finish line of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles - in a Hummer H3 driven off a Parisian dealer's lot - and battled from 51st to 12th out of 98 teams after a mistake on the first leg. The Rallye Aïcha, a six-stage trek through the desert, allows no use of GPS, no pace notes, no cell phones, and no binoculars. Pilots and co-pilots find their way between checkpoints with maps, compasses and pencils, and whoever completes the journey in the shortest distance, wins.
The race was made even harder this year by using not the 1:100,000-scale maps of years past, but scraps of paper with increasingly less route information as the race went on. Olympic skier and co-pilot Wendy Fisher wrote to say, "This continues to be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. An unbelievably tough event. Days were SO long, almost impossible to get all of the checkpoints."

Hummers are for Horses: Artist reimagines the monsterous SUV [w/video]

Horse-drawn Hummer H2 - Click above to view the video after the jump
When the internal combustion engine finally helped the automobile pass the horse-drawn carriage as the chosen method of transportation for a majority of citizens in the United States, that a step in the right direction. Right? Moving forward about a hundred years... when the behemoth Sport Utility Vehicle that never actually seems to venture off the beaten path passed the minivan in the hearts and minds of families across the country as the people-mover of choice, was that a step in the right direction?
If you answered no to either of the above questions, perhaps you'll enjoy the video pasted after the break. Created by artist Jeremy Dean (read about our initial post on the project here), the converted Hummer H2 is called Futurama and is pulled by two white horses named, appropriately enough, Duke and Diesel. Hummers are for horses? See for yourself.
