Up for sale is a 2004 Honda s2000 in Silverstone Metallic exterior and Black Leather interior with a rebuilt salvage title. It has 105,528 miles and all maintenance is up to date. The miles will go up slightly due it being driven daily. Everything on the car is in perfect working condition, apart from a new driver it needs nothing. I've owned it for a little over a year and its been a blast to drive this car either with the top down or up, but due my business needing more funds I'm looking to sell this car.

The car was salvaged due to a front left collision damage. Airbags were not deployed. Only the left fender and the front bumper needed replacement. I have the receipts for the parts that were replaced and the work done. The damage was minimal which was the reason why I bought it in first place and trusted with my life for over a year. I do have the pictures of the damage if anyone wants to see them.

Mechanically the car is very good condition, there are no leaks, no rattles or anything else. I used the car for commuting to work and it wasn't abused at race tracks or with engine modifications. On the outside, due to age it does have some rock chips and minor scratches, most of them on the hood but overall its in good condition. After a wash and wax the metallic paint shines up very nicely and it catches everyone's attention. The convertible top is in excellent condition with no tears. Wheels have some minor curb rash but all of the tires were changed ~2k miles ago. Interior is very clean with only the driver's seat bolster and the steering wheel showing signs of wear. Overall this a nice, dependable AP2 for a fair price.

Cons-The hood is slightly damaged as it’s the original one from the accident, but since it’s a very small misalignment it was left on the car. Hood's can be found for $150-200 but to be honest it hasn't bothered me much for over a year so I never had it changed. There is also a small dent on the bottom side of the right rocker panel. Both of these are hard to notice in person unless I point them out.

This is a No-Reserve auction. Please bid only if you have the funds available. I'm not interested in trades and please don't send me offers of anything below the listed price. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message.

***The round spots on the hood and the trunk are water, they're not rock chips or small dents.***

Watch these guys creatively cover No Diggity in a Honda Civic

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

People do some weird things in their cars. Take these two gentlemen and their Honda Civic. Rather than tune in to satellite radio or hook up an iPod, they've opted to create their own music.
YouTube musician Flula (in the passenger seat) and his friend Chester perform a cover of Blackstreet's Number-One Billboard hit, "No Diggity," complete with the requisite auto tuning, all while on the go. Is it weird that we almost prefer this wacky version to the original '90s R&B classic? Take a look - and a listen - by scrolling below, and note that we've included the original song featuring Dr. Dre... you know, for comparative purposes.

Latest Honda promo film is a Never Ending Race against emissions

Sun, Feb 16 2014

A new Honda promotional video shows clips of a hazy, smog-choked Los Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s, and then gives the company credit for its lead role in cutting vehicle-emissions by a factor of one thousand since 1970. Self-serving? Sure. Then again, this LA-native reporter born in 1970 can't help but be somewhat appreciative. The nearly five-minute video takes a tour through Honda history, showing the Japanese automaker using its experience designing race cars to help develop smaller engines such as its four-cylinder CVCC. An early proponent of California's Clean Air Act, Honda recounts its low-emissions history with the first production low-emission vehicle (the 1996 Civic) and the first production ultra-low-emission vehicle (the 1998 Accord), and says it's approaching "near zero emissions" for its new cars. For anyone keeping track, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said late last year that Honda's 2013 model-year vehicles averaged an even 27 miles per gallon, and that's with a fairly limited number of hybrids and plug-ins sold. That number was up from its 26.6 mpg in 2012 and second only to Mazda's 27.5 mpg among the major automakers. The overall 2013 average was 24.0 mpg. Recharge Wrap-up: Ford announces e-bike project, Honda Accord Hybrid availability catches up

Thu, Mar 5 2015

Supplies of the Honda Accord Hybrid have apparently caught up with demand. Honda originally launched the Accord Hybrid for the 2014 model year, but lack of availability plagued interested customers and eager dealers alike. Honda cited "component supply constraints" - likely batteries, electric motors and the like - for the lack of available vehicles. Now, "The supply of Accord Hybrids in general is in line with the supply of the regular Accord sedan," according to Honda's Angie Nucci. Read more at Green Car Reports. Apple is seeking a resolution to a lawsuit accusing the company of poaching employees from lithium-ion battery maker A123 Systems. A123 has requested a court order stopping a former employer from breaking an employment agreement, as well as keeping Apple from encouraging the person to do so. Apple has requested more time to respond to that court order. A123 has also filed a suit accusing five employees of breaking nondisclosure agreements and going or trying to go to work for Apple. Insiders say that Apple is developing an electric car that could go into production as early as 2020. Read more at Automotive News. South Dakota's Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program is helping retailers fund ethanol storage. The state government has set aside $300,000 as part of the program to fund ethanol storage tanks at gas stations. The program, which originally set out to reimburse retailers for building ethanol flex-pumps, is now helping them expand their ethanol capacities. The foldable MoDe:Me e-bike is for personal use and commuting, while the MoDe:Pro is built for commercial duty, with both powered by a 200-watt motor and 9-amp-hour battery. The bikes use an iPhone app called MoDe:Link, which provides various information and controls important bike functions. Through the app, the bikes offer navigation (with traffic data, available public transportation and charging locations included), with handlebar vibrations letting the rider know when and where to turn and automatically activating turn signals. The bike can sense and alert the rider to other vehicles on the roadway. Pedal assist is based on heart rate, allowing the rider to arrive at their destination comfortably.
