2001 Honda S2000 4cyl 6 speed transmission with 160,000 miles.I purchased this car from a certified Honda dealer in louisiana and had the compression checked before i bought it.It showed 215 across all 4 cylinders.I have changed the wheels and tires to 18"XXR Rims 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear.I also replaced the coil packs, plugs, map sensor, cat converter with a test pipe and both O2 sensors. The suspension has been lowered with 4" lowering springs amd sits very nice.I installed a front chin spoiler also. The original paint on the car was silver but had some small dings and scratches so i had all the body work done and the car and door jams painted black. The paint is about a 7 out of 10 but still looks great. The factory radio was locked when i got it so it was also replaced with an Alpine cd player. The interior of the car is in very nice shape but the passenger seat does have a small cut in the bottom of the seat hardly.noticable.All guages work and the car has ice cold ac and hot heat. There are no issues with car whatsoever, power windows work great and the top is like new,im just looking to get something with more room. The engine in this car puts out 245 hp stock which makes for some serious fun.Adult owned and never raced or over reved. Please message me with any other questions.A 500 dollar non refundable depost is due within 24 hours from the end of the auction.I will help with shipping any way i can. This car is being sold as is with no warranty what so ever.

Honda Gear concept explored at Montreal Auto Show

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

Our friends at Autoblog Canada have just come away with a closer look at Honda's surprise Gear Concept at the Montreal Auto Show. The little three-door hatchback is arguably the automaker's first real shot at the North American city car market (the Gear is much smaller than the Fit) and may be an indication that Honda is getting serious about going after Scion on this side of the world after the CR-Z hybrid failed to deliver. Honda says the Gear Concept takes its inspiration from the fixed-gear bicycle scene, and should allow buyers an unprecedented level of customization. Designers also wanted to show that a car can be both fun and practical.
We're all for a compact stylish three door with functional room inside, but given Honda's propensity for draining the personality from its concepts on the way to production (at least the ones that don't look showroom ready), we don't hold much hope for the Gear. You can check out the full press release below for more information.

Honda recalling 204k CR-V, Odyssey, Acura RDX models over rollaway risk

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

Honda has announced a recall over a possible rollaway risk that affects 204,169 crossover and minivan models. The specific vehicles in question are the 2012-13 Honda CR-V and Odyssey, as well as the 2013 Acura RDX.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, "the brake-shift interlock blocking mechanism may become slow and allow the gear selector to be moved from the Park position without pressing the brake pedal." In other words, these vehicles could unintentionally roll away.
NHTSA states that this scenario may only happen during sub-freezing temperatures, but notes that this means the vehicles fail to conform with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 114: Theft Protection and Rollaway Prevention. Honda will notify owners of the problem, and dealerships will install an updated interlocking mechanism free of charge.

Honda shines the spotlight on Project Drive-In success

Tue, 24 Sep 2013

Project Drive-In, a Honda-sponsored campaign to save drive-in theaters across the country, is beginning to bear fruit, as the first theaters have been informed that they'll be getting free digital projectors. Many theaters still use 35-millimeter film, which is being phased out rather aggressively in the movie industry. The move to digital, meanwhile, requires nearly a six-figure investment, forcing many drive-ins to close up shop for good.
The first phase of the campaign saw the public vote for their favorite drive-in, with the top five getting a free digital projector, courtesy of Honda. There's some touching reaction videos of the owners being informed that they'd won down below. The next phase in the program takes place on Indiegogo, where Project Drive-In is trying to raise $100,000 for the drive-in that's gotten the next highest number of votes. If the Indiegogo campaign reaches that figure before its expiration on October 7, it'll make the donation and reset the meter to save another theater.
Take a look down below for the video from Honda on Project Drive-In, and then do yourselves a favor, and head over to the Project Drive-In Indiegogo campaign, and make a donation.
