2002 Honda Accord LX for sale. This car has 246K mile with about 246K miles left to go. I bought the Honda I named "Bob" 4 years ago from a man who drove it 2 hours one way to work and I drove it 1 hour each way to work. "Bob" had 153K when I bought him and runs as good as the day I bought him, I am only selling because mom wanted a new car with our new baby. This is the best car I have ever owned and has ran flawless for the last 4 years, all I have done to it is regular maintenance brakes and tires.

Mechanically this car is just awesome, but there is a few cosmetic things. There is a small dent on the rear passenger side door, several scratches on the car that I tried to show in the pictures, there is some glue stuff on the hood that looks like it once had a bug deflector and some kind of brown specs on the front fender and hood area. The hub caps have also pealed over the years. The engine warning light has been on for about 150K miles and there is a small occasional vibration from the exhaust cover that can only be heard if you are in a garage or in the drive thru window. Everything works on this car except for the light on the clock at night, but the clock still works. Good cold A/C, the heater is blowing hot air out in less than a mile. The tires have about 50% of their life left and I change all of the fluids myself. The car has A/C, PS, PB, CD, PW and I get about 30 mpg driving to work everyday.

I will give you my phone # if you sound very interested and we can talk about it, just trying to eliminate the tire kickers and telemarketers who have "buyers in my area".

Honda says Accord is America's best-selling car among actual consumers

Fri, 21 Feb 2014

The latest round of new vehicle registration data has been good for Honda - three of the Japanese brand's models are retail sales leaders and the Accord was the most registered car built in America in 2013, according to the data compiled by Polk. In fact, 360,089 units of the family sedan were purchased by individual consumers last year, an increase of 12.2 percent.
There was also good news from the Civic and CR-V camps, as those two models topped their respective segments in terms of retail (non-fleet) sales, with each notching over 300,000 registrations. Combined with the Accord, this trio of Hondas accounted for a whopping 1.11 million retail sales last year.
Honda spokesperson Sage Marie reflected on Polk's findings, telling Autoblog:

2015 Honda HR-V looks fit for the urban jungle

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Honda has been teasing us with the looks of its Fit-based compact crossover for months. Now the production version, dubbed the HR-V in the US, has finally been unveiled - in photographic form, at any rate - at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The CUV will slot into the brand's range this winter, and at the moment the company is keeping mum on many details about the new model.
The HR-V looks almost identical to the Urban SUV Concept unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The concept wore some nifty LED headlights and bigger wheels, but the rest of the styling has carried over to production. The handsome CUV sports diamond-shaped headlights, and a center bar splits the grille into two tiers. It has the same swoosh down the side running to the C-pillar, but it appears slightly less pronounced than in Detroit. The rear door handles are also hidden in the back pillar.
The compact crossover rides on the same platform as the new Fit. That allows it to take full advantage of the compact's highly versatile interior. The HR-V comes with Honda's Magic Seat that allows the back row to fold flat into the floor when needed.

Honda could halve its US lineup without crimping its sales much [w/video]

Sat, 18 May 2013

Taking a detailed look at the Honda lineup in the US, it isn't hard to see the strength of some models and the weaknesses of others. A recent report on Autoline Daily points out that its five core models - the Accord, Civic, CR-V, Odyssey and Pilot - make up a full 93 percent of Honda's sales in the US. Through April, Honda has sold 419,798 vehicles, and 389,474 of them were from these core models; not to mention the fact that the Accord was the top-selling car in the US last month.
This means that Honda could technically cut six of its 11 models and only lose about 5,000 sales per month. Of course, this is just some data crunching and there is no reason to believe that Honda is planning to kill off any of its models in the near future. In fact, it seems to be committed to the Ridgeline, while Japanese-made models that may actually lose money for Honda still fill unique voids. Scroll down for the video report - fast-forward to the 1:43 mark for the Honda info.
