I have a 1972 GMC 2500 Suburban for sale.  It has a fuel injected 383 stroker on a 400 turbo transmission with a shift kit and overdrive.  The engine and transmission have about 11k miles on them, the body says 77,400 but it is unknown.  The suspension drop of 6 inch in rear 4 in the front with disk brakes in the front sitting on 20 inch rims.  Windows are tinted as dark as they can be legally.  The interior is very nice with matching painted dash, bench seat in the front and back with a grey and cream color fabric which is on the door panels too.  The back seat splits in two and folds down.  The body of the truck is very strait and clean with a few minor paint blemishes .  There is a small crack on the back tailgate from bondo but that is the only part with bondo and there is three holes on each of the front doors from the old mirrors(not noticeable).  The color looks red in the pictures but is more of a burgundy and the top is a khaki.  It drives great at freeway speeds at less then 2000 rpm because of the overdrive.  I get waves and thumbs up every time I drive it's a real head turner.  I am currently using it as a daily driver and it starts every time with no problems ever and it drives awesome.

Roadkill pits every project car against each other

The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.

Next-gen GMC Sierra spied with diesel power

The next generation of GM trucks is arriving soon, and we're expecting a huge leap forward over the current lineup. The Chevy Silverado and the GMC SIerra sell extremely well, but haven't done much to move the segment forward in a long time. The Ford F-150 has an all-aluminum body and turbocharged V6 power. The Ram 1500 gained a diesel and coil spring suspension. These spy shots show that diesel may be in the cards for GM. Some quick shots and copious use of flash show what is most likely a tank for diesel exhaust fluid and a diesel particulate filter, both necessary equipment for any modern diesel. It's unclear what form factor that engine will come in, though GM has a number of engines to choose from, including the 2.8-liter inline four that's found in the Colorado and Canyon, though that may be a little light duty for the Silverado and Sierra. Other rumors surrounding the trucks suggest a move to an aluminum cab while retaining a steel bed. That seems like a reasonable move for GM, even if the company was attempting to shame Ford for its move to aluminum a few years ago. Look for more news as early as the Detroit Auto Show in January.
