Selling my 2004 GMC 2500 the truck is in very good shape for the year with a very low 54xxx miles
the truck is fully loaded all power options. Has heated seats, weather-teck floor mats, Matching Leer cap and bed-liner.
the interior is very clean and seats are all in excellent shape with no rips. The body has no rust or rot, little chase coating starting to flake
but no rust on the frame. paint is in excellent shape with a few small dings (drivers side rear door and pass side rear bed) and
scratches ( rear tailgate and front bumper). The truck runs and drives perfect, was never used for work. Brakes were done at 50xxx and tires at 49xxx.
this truck comes  with a Boss Snowplow mount. Truck was not really used to plow, had it installed as a backup inn case my other truck
went down. The motor is the famous powerful Duramax mated with the unstoppable Allison transmission. i love this truck and do not wish to
sell it but i need a new work truck and this one is too nice to beat-up and a little to long to plow with.
i have the plow for sale as well if you are interested that as well.
please feel free to call with any questions  631 988-1727
will entertain delivering if asking price is met.

No carbon fiber was harmed in the making of new 2015 GMC Sierra Carbon Edition

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Carbon fiber is known for its properties of combining amazing strength with extremely low weight, and its frequent use in high performance vehicles gives the material a somewhat aggressive air. GMC is hoping to play on some of that mean reputation with its upcoming trio of Sierra Carbon Editions. However, despite their name, there's no actual carbon making its way onto these trucks (at least in the form of CF). Instead, the special edition is a graphics package with some extra equipment thrown in.
All three specials are based on the 2015 Sierra 1500 and can be ordered in two- or four-wheel drive configuration and with the standard 4.3-liter V6 or optional 5.3-liter V8. Things kick off with the standard Sierra Carbon Edition for $33,075, including destination, available only on the double cab body. Buyers get a black grille, carbon fiber decals on the hood and tailgate and body color trim for the door handles and mirror caps. The edition also adds keyless entry, a 110-volt outlet and LED cargo box lighting.
Buyers wanting just a touch more style can opt for the Carbon 20 Edition on the SLE double cab that gets the same exterior tweaks, plus 20-inch aluminum wheels, and retails for $38,275. Finally, there is the Carbon 22 Edition starting at $42,270 on the SLE in double- or crew cab models. It adds further black 22-inch wheels, tubular side steps, fog lights, keyless start, a universal home remote, dual-zone climate control and 110-volt outlet.

GM renders new Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon pickups

Thu, 08 Aug 2013

At a series of industry seminars in Traverse City, MI today, General Motors executive vice president Dan Ammann gifted us with our first glimpse of the upcoming midsize pickup range from Chevrolet and GMC.
Just two slivers of nose are all we can see of the soon-to-be announced Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, though the teaser image does make plain that the pair will follow the styling cues (at least up front) found on big brothers Silverado and Sierra.
GM hasn't given us much in the way of detail in its ultra-brief press release that accompanied the teaser image, which is to be expected. We're told only that the pair of trucks are designed to be "capable, versatile and fuel-efficient alternatives to full-size pickups" and that production will start sometime in 2014, at the Wentzville, MO assembly center.

GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.
