2004 1/2 GMC Sierra 2500HD Extended Cab 4x4. 6.6 LLY Duramax Diesel, 5 speed Allison Transmission. I am the 2nd owner of this truck, and purchased it in June of 2007 with 90,000 miles, it now just shy of 175,000 miles. SLE Trim Package with some upgrades, Dual Climate Control, XM Radio built in. Cloth seats with a split bench seat in the front. I will let pictures do the talking. This is not a rot bucket, it does have some rust. It also was used as a truck and has dings, dents, and some scratches. My new truck will arrive in about 45 days. Dealer has guaranteed me a trade in price so please no trade offers. And I do think that my asking price is more than fair. I will entertain REALISTIC offers. The only thing that this truck will need is a pair of tires. Any other questions please call. If you are close enough I URGE YOU TO COME TAKE A LOOK!!!!! I believe you will not find a comparable truck in this area with the same mileage or same vintage.

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014
Thu, 10 Apr 2014While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
GMC Canyon's jump seats innovate to keep kids safe [w/video]
Sat, 03 May 2014We dig simple solutions to problems. There's something highly gratifying about making a minute change to fix something, rather than tearing up the playbook. That's what GMC has done with the new Canyon midsize pickup.
When putting a car seat in, car seat manufacturers require that at least 80 percent of the seat's base fit on the bottom cushion. That's a big problem in extended-cab pickups like the Canyon, which feature jump seats with shorter bottom cushions, in place of the larger, more traditionally designed bench.
The Canyon gets around this with extendable jump seats - simply pop out the headrest and slot it into the bottom seat cushion, and the truck can now easily accommodate a child's seat.
