Selling my 2007 GMC 2500 SLT diesel truck with the powerful 6.6L Duramax diesel LMM with Allison automatic transmission. ( LMM Pre Det Fluid Engine ) Det fluid not required !
Purchased new by me original owner at Timbrook Pontiac Buick GMC in Cumberland Maryland in April of 2007. I have ordered a new 2015 so I'm selling this truck to the highest bidder.Reserve is very fair !
Truck is in excellent driving condition with normal wear & tear some scuffs scratches and a few minor dings & normal paint chips you would expect on a 7 year old vehicle. Truck is 100% ready and good to go!
All maintenance completed by the GMC garage where it was purchased new. We have recently within the last 30,000 miles replaced both front wheel bearings on the truck as well as the CV joints on the passenger side. All U joints have been replaced with grease-able type factory u-joints as needed. Oil was changed every 5,000 miles with Shell Rotella 15W-40 oil. Truck has never been wrecked or driven off highway and has only towed a small amount of times in its entire life. This truck was a daily driver for me for almost 7 years with no problems that ever kept it from doing that job. Always started up quickly in the coldest of winters.
The wheels tires accessories etc. all cost me about $6,000 as an add on when installed new. You are buying a good looking black GMC Duramax SLT that turns heads everywhere it goes. No worries buying this truck as it has a lot of good years and service life left in her. Any questions please email them to me through Ebay or call me direct at 301-697-0084.
Full payment required prior to shipping or pickup of vehicle. Inspections are welcome.  We can arrange shipping also or you can pickup the truck here in Hyndman Pa. 15545

Lincoln, GMC clean up in AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

In recent years, there have been a lot of dire pronouncements made about Lincoln's future, or a lack thereof. But Ford's premium marque is like the Rocky Balboa of the auto business; every time the company seems ready to go, it comes back for more. Apparently, that dogged persistence is paying off, because the industry analysts at AutoPacific have put a big check in their win column with their newly released 2014 model year vehicle satisfaction survey. And despite recent enmity for its seemingly never-ending recall saga, it appears General Motors knows how to satisfy new owners, too.
In fact, not only was Lincoln named as the premium brand with the highest new owner satisfaction, even scored three models on the list of passenger cars with the most gratified buyers - the MKS, MKZ and MKZ Hybrid.
GM's stable of brands was also among the top companies in this year's survey. GMC was named the top popular brand by AutoPacific, with its Sierra pickup and Acadia crossover singled out for awards in their segments. Chevrolet also did incredibly well, with more cars on the list than any other brand. The Corvette, Camaro, Sonic and Impala all made the cut in their respective categories.

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. GM also sheds parts from its pickups to boost payload ratings

Thu, 31 Jul 2014

The row between Ford and Ram over who boasts the best-in-class tow rating for heavy duty pickups has revealed a number of things. Chief among them is a report that Ford removes items like the spare tire, jack, radio and center console from its vehicles in a bid to lower its base curb weight and therefore keep the truck's gross vehicle weight rating down.
For those that need a refresher, GVWR is the vehicle's curb weight plus its maximum payload. A lower GVWR allows Ford to station its F-450 among the so-called Class III pickups, despite the fact that internally, it has the makings of a more brutish Class IV truck.
Ford explains away these deletions, saying a customer could order their vehicle in such a manner. It has also come to light that Ford is not the only automaker to engage in such practices.
