2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD duramax LB7 144k
Selling my lb7, very clean many upgrades (listed bellow).  My field of work has changed and i have to drive around the city 3-4 days a week. Needless to say that's not what this truck was built for.   Kills me to sell this truck but its what it is.  All upgrades where done in the past year.
-Full suspension Ranchero 4 in lift kit, gas shock option.
-5" mbrp  turbo back exhaust ( over the axel Dump)
-Edge evolution programmer.
-Entire front end was redone done during the lift install. Wheel barring, upper and lower ball barring, idler, upper control arms, steering rack, wheel barings , all parts replaced with Mooge parts.
- truck sits on 18"XD Wheels wrapped In 33"wrangler duratrack tires.
- the audio is also completely over hauled. There is a 6 Chanel infinity amp powdering a 10inch Polk sub conveniently mounted under the rear seat. There are 2 6x9 in the front doors as well as to 8s in the rear. All doors are wrapped in sound matting for higher quality sound. Also deadens the sound in the Cabin. I used the stock head unit to keep the factory look. This truck will not except 6x9 speakers without massive fabrication. I have 30-40 hrs of time in fitting the truck with audio. I don't like the sound that a full round speaker system gives.

The truck runs great and drives better. I had a spacer lift before the ranchero and u wouldn't believe the difference. Don't bother with spacers!! Interior is all leather black. its very hard to find guys selling trucks like this after this much work has went into it.

If your  looking for a nice diesel that was done right this is it.... I will be loosing a ton of time and money on this truck and will only let it go for the right price. I'm In No rush to sell it so no low balls.  Please feel free to contact me VIA TEXT: seven 3 two eight 1 four 0 one 1 three.  Thanks, Kevin-

Please note that the VIN And year isn't accurate in the details i'm on vacation and don't have the vin on me so i had to list it at earlier than 1981 to list with out the vin.  I will have the Vin uploaded On sunday afternoon. Thanks !

Next-gen GM SUVs caught wearing new boxy bodies [w/video]

Wed, 15 May 2013

We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. And now that The General's pickup trucks have been squared away, it's time to focus our attention onto their passenger-friendly companions, the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon (above).
Our spy photographers have passed along a huge smattering of photos (and a video), showing the new SUVs out testing. Both the short- and long-wheelbase models were spied, and while the overall shape of the vehicles hasn't changed all that much, we expect the updates to be substantial. In addition to new powertrain options, like GM's new small-block V8, we expect the interiors of both SUVs to get massive makeovers, providing better materials throughout their cabins and quieter, more refined environments. We even hear that some trick new suspension developments may be in store for upper-end models.
Visually, these spy shots allow us to see a couple of new details on the SUVs' front and rear fascias, including LED running lamps on the Yukon and some interesting LED taillamp treatments. Of course, the obvious third party missing from this set of photos is the Cadillac Escalade, but as we reported earlier, GM is working to further differentiate the 'Slade from the rest of the fullsize SUV lineup, and is working to make the new model "much less ostentatious."

Specialty Vehicle Engineering's 750-horsepower GMC Canyon fully revealed

Fri, Jun 19 2020

GMC's celebrated Syclone will turn 30 in early 2021, but nothing suggests the company will mark the occasion by releasing a modern interpretation of the pickup. New Jersey-based tuner Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) is taking the matter into its own hands by building a limited number of GMC Canyon trucks with Hellcat-like power. Although the original Syclone received a turbocharged V6, the 2021 model gains a 5.3-liter V8 normally found in bigger vehicles, including the Sierra and Yukon. SVE rebuilt it with forged aluminum pistons, forged steel connecting rods, high-lift valve springs, a custom crankshaft and upgraded fuel injectors among other aftermarket parts. It also added a supercharger to raise the eight's output to 750 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque. Power flows to the four wheels via a strengthened 8-speed automatic transmission and a permanent all-wheel-drive system. For context, the first Syclone gave the Chevrolet Corvette a run for its money with a fuel-injected, 4.3-liter V6 turbocharged to 280 horsepower and 360 pound-feet of torque. These numbers were spectacular in the early 1990s since the Sonoma that Syclone was based on shipped with the 105-horse Iron Duke four-cylinder as standard. Even compared with the Sonoma GT that got a naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V6 with 195 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, the Syclone was impressive. SVE installed six-pistons front calipers that clamp 13.6-inch slotted rotors, and it kept the factory brakes out back. It also lowered the suspension by two inches in the front and five inches in the back, upgraded the shocks, and added a heavy-duty rear sway bar. These modifications help drivers make the most of the extra power, but SVE hasn't published performance specifications (like the truck's zero-to-60-mph time) yet. Surprisingly, the eight-cylinder weighs almost the same as the V6 it replaces so the engine swap doesn't affect weight distribution. Visually, the Syclone can't be mistaken for a run-of-the-mill Canyon. It wears a deep front bumper, has cladding over the rocker panels and rides on 20-inch alloys. Edition-specific emblems round out the look, and the list of options includes a body-colored grille as well as a folding tonneau cover. SVE's images show a truck painted black, which was the only color offered on the 1991 model, but it's available in any factory hue. Inside, the modern-day Syclone gains special floor mats and a numbered plaque on the dashboard. Leather is optional.

Son surprises his dad by restoring his 1949 pickup for Christmas

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Norman Meal, an 83-year-old retired farmer from Rushville, IN, nearly missed his big Christmas gift when his son, Kyle, first presented it to him. Norman was oblivious and was looking all over the garage floor until Kyle pointed out a satin black pickup with a bow on it parked inside. This wasn't just another case of a child buying a parent a dream vehicle; the '49 GMC sitting there was Norman's very first truck that was restored and ready to drive. According to Fox 59 WXIN, Norman's father purchased the GMC in 1949, and Norman bought it from him in the mid '50s to use on the farm. However, for about the past 13 years, the truck had been rotting away in the garage of one of Kyle's friends. As a perfect gift to his dad, Kyle took the pickup to a restoration shop to make the old vehicle roadworthy again. Practically everything was replaced – except for the horn. Thankfully, Kyle filmed his dad's reaction to getting the GMC. Check it out and watch them take a drive in the heartwarming video above.
