Winchester, Illinois, United States
OK, I had this truck on here 26 days ago, luvaustin2 was the winning bidder, He never Paid or contacted me in any way, eBay gave me my fee back and here we go again, I blocked luvaustin2 so he can never bid on anything of mine again and I suggest you do the same ! I am selling my 1994 GMC Short Bed Extended Cab that was fully tricked out when brand new by Southern Comfort Conversions, It has always been loved and taken care of, It has the 350 motor and 700R4 automatic with overdrive, The truck runs and drives great, It has a Flowmaster muffler and dual pipes so it sounds great, I just put 1 new tire on it yesterday and the other 3 tires have great tread, Everything works but the AC, It has a leak someplace, It leaks the freon out, This is a super dependable truck that I would drive anyplace and any distance, All the glass is good and I just recently had a new windshield put in it, I started to see some rust on the front fenders last summer so it now has new fenders and a new custom paint job and I put real Harley Davidson (Chrome) emblems on it and had Harley stripes and decals specially made for it and it now is painted Black & Orange, The truck was black before, There are no dents or scratches and the paint is beautiful, The bed and rear fenders on all 1988 to 1998 stepsides are fiberglass, There for this one has never had any rust on it, There is a dent in the rear bumper and a crack in the fiberglass behind the bumper from when I backed into something, Also the leather on the Drivers seat has some cracks in it and has been sewn in a few spots, Also the truck has a lot of beautiful real wood in it, The wood is excellent but the clear coat on it has cracks in it, This truck only has a (Very Low) 139,121 Original miles on it, The title is Good, Free and Clear and in my name, Please feel free to ask all the questions you have, Also You are very welcome to come and see the truck here at my home in Winchester IL. 62694
I don't like the look of GMC Grill's so I put a (New) Chrome Chevy Grill on it and (New) Head light, Parking lights and turn signals on it because all the old lights were old and faded and I like my stuff to look nice, The body and paint is still like new because I take care of my stuff and I do not park in parking lots or beside other vehicles, There are NO - Paint Chips and No Scratches in the paint, Also I am getting a ton of people wanting to trade me there Car,Truck, Motorcycle, Boat and other stuff, I do not want to trade ! For Sale - Only ! On Jul-28-14 at 13:39:30 PDT, seller added the following information: Be sure and check my Feedback Score, I have sold Many, many items and 77 Vehicles and my Feedback Score is 502 with 100% All GOOD ! |

GM phasing out light-duty 1500-series vans
Mon, 16 Jun 2014In the market for a fullsize van but don't need a heavy-duty model? You're in the minority, and you're also out of luck. That's because there are barely any more fullsize vans on the market with gross vehicle weight rating of less than 8,500 pounds, the threshold that separates light- and heavy-duty vans.
According to PickupTrucks.com, neither the Ford E-Series, Ram ProMaster, nor Mercedes-Benz Sprinter are available in light-duty versions. Few of the Ford Transit configurations are, either, and now General Motors is discontinuing production of the 1500-series Chevy Express and GMC Savana.
Apparently light-duty versions accounted for just 23 percent of Express sales and only 7 percent of Savanas. Add to that the fact that these 1500 versions were the only ones using the old generation of engines and suspension, and that the Wentzville plant near St. Louis, Missouri, is trying to make room for the next Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups, and the fate of the light-duty GM van was sealed.
GM dealers unhappy about pickup prices
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The backlash is beginning. Following General Motors' price hike of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra last week, dealers across the country are expressing their ire over increasing prices in the face of rebates and discounts on trucks from Ford and Ram.
Speaking to Automotive News, Sam Pilato, the general manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL, Silverados are "selling very poorly." W. Carrol Smith, the president of Monument Chevrolet in the heart of truck country, Texas, said, "[GM's] position is that the vehicle stands on its own and it doesn't need a bigger rebate. That's not what the market is telling us."
According to AN, that's the general attitude amongst Chevy and GMC dealers across the country, where the twin pickups are getting butchered in sales by competitors offering up to $9,000 off their sticker prices. Part of the problem for GM is that its trucks are arriving on the market near the end of the current F-150's lifecycle, a fact that Ford has taken advantage of.
GMC Canyon will debut in Detroit
Fri, 20 Dec 2013With the debut of the Chevrolet Colorado at November's Los Angeles Auto Show, perhaps it was only a matter of time before we saw the small truck's GMC counterpart. That time will be January, as we've received official confirmation that the GMC Canyon will be revived at next month's North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The news came in the latest issue of the Detroit Auto Show's newsletter, NAIAS Connect. The article hasn't been posted online quite yet, but it details the Canyon as one of the world production debuts slated for the show.
While we've heard rumors that the Canyon would arrive in Detroit, this is our first concrete bit of evidence. As we've detailed before, we expect the Canyon to be stylistically quite different than the Colorado, though the underpinnings will be shared. The teaser image we have above is currently our only look at the new truck. We'll hopefully have more details in the next few weeks as the GMC Canyon draws closer to its official debut.
