This is a very, very nice SE Model with all the bells and whistle. Kelly Blue Book Avg. condition for a person to person sell on this van is over $5000.00. 2 Sliding Doors, Dual AC, Video system, Has 93,500 actual miles, with nice tires, plenty of tread. Interior very clean.
This van was purchased from a storage unit with the owner present. Money was divided between, owner, tow driver and representative. Have clean DC title with picture ID and all signatures. Was told van was driven to storage unit in a one condition nearly 2 years ago and had been there ever since, thus the low mileage for a 2003. Small damage to front bumper as you can see in picture was done the day the van was brought to storage. Van would not start from setting up for 2 years. I like a idiot took a chance and bit hook, line and sinker. Had van towed to my house and before I started trying to figure out why it wouldn't crank I checked oil and antifreeze. The oil was not touching stick so I added oil. Much to my disappointment the oil I was adding was running on the ground. They forgot to tell me whatever she hit with the bumper went under the van and busted a hole in the oil pan as you can see in the picture. The good news for a mechanic looking a deal the hole did not hit anything in the engine or oil pump. Engine spins over fine and will fire with carb cleaner. I have bought a used oil pan, pan gasket kit, oil filter and repair manual. Ford mechanic told me this was an pretty easy repair and should take 4 to 5 hours. Well its way over my head I can tell and I want it gone bad. Willing to take 1995.00 or best offer just to have it gone asap. I'm loosing enough already at 1995.00 so I want give it away but make a reasonable offer and come get it. Once repaired this van will have a Kelly Blue Book Value of over 5000.00. Check for your self.
Before you ask it can not be driven home. Oil runs out as fast as you pour it in.
I can not accept payments. Not a dealer just thought I had found a deal.

VW going turbo-only in 3 to 4 years

This really was a matter of when, rather than if. Volkswagen will apparently be the first manufacturer to phase out naturally aspirated engines in favor of turbocharging its full slate. VW is kind of responsible for ushering in this push towards small-displacement, turbocharged engines that's taken the industry by storm. When it dropped its direct-injection, 2.0-liter turbo in the 2005 GTI it demonstrated that strapping an iron long to an engine can enhance the powertrain as a whole. VW made fuel economy gains, while also giving a linear, non-laggy turbo experience that it has replicated, model-after-model, to this day.
Speaking with The Detroit News, Volkswagen's executive Vice President of Group Quality, Marc Trahan, told the paper that, "We only have one normally aspirated gas engine, and when we go to the next generation vehicle that it's in, it will be replaced. So three, four years maximum."
Really, it's hard to get teary-eyed about either of these engines going away. VW has access to smaller powerplants that could easily match the performance of the 2.5 five-cylinder and the 3.6 V6, while gobbling up less fuel and providing a better driving experience. What we are sad about is that a similar statement about the extinction of NA engines came from the Vice President of Powertrain Engineering at Ford, Joe Bakaj. We'd certainly get teary-eyed over a world without Ford's excellent 5.0-liter V8.

Drive Ford's new Mustang in Need For Speed Rivals

If waiting for the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang to hit dealerships is just too tall of an order, you'll be happy to hear that there is now an alternative means of getting behind the wheel of America's favorite pony car. The Mustang is making its video game debut in Need For Speed Rivals.
"We worked closely with the development team at EA to provide them with engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before we showed it to the rest of the world," said Ford product licensing manager Mark Bentley. "Computer design models enabled the game developers to create an accurate representation of the new Mustang before it goes on sale."
Players will have access to five unique designs for the Mustang, allowing a degree of individuality beyond solid colors and decals. According to Digital Marketing Manager Andrea Zuehlk of Ford, those designs are drawn from the four most popular designs on the Mustang Customizer, an online, mobile and tablet app that allows the public to design their own custom Mustang. A fifth design, penned by drift racer Vaughn Gittin, Jr., is also available.

The V8 grunt of the Mustang has defined Ford performance cars in the US for the last 50 years, but in Europe, the Blue Oval has nearly as a long history of building some of the best hot hatches on the market with the Fiesta, Escort and later the Focus. The latest Fiesta ST has just hit the roads on both sides of the pond and has been enthusiastically received thanks to its combination of a peppy, turbocharged engine and hatchback utility.
However, Europe is getting a bumper crop of hot hatches at the moment, including the forthcoming, third-generation Mini Cooper S. Should Ford have waited to launch the ST until it knew how the competition performed?
