This 2003 Ford Windstar LX runs well, has an small issue with air conditioner which needs a repair to switch from hot to cold. Some scratches on body with small dent in rear bumper passenger side. Some damage to back of driver and passenger chairs - seat covers in place. 2nd owner - vehicle bought in Mississippi, currently located in Connecticut. All costs for shipping will be incurred by buyer. All fees must be paid prior to transfer of ownership. Good passenger van for big family ... The blue book value for this van is 2600 - 3000 in the shape that it is in....however I am asking lower than market value for buffer purpose and wear and tear problem all cars can have down the road due to it being a used car. So be realistic in bidding to know no used car is perfect. If you do move on...because all used cars will need something. I am looking for someone who wants a nice van at a good price. Ford adds 850 jobs to build 2015 F-150
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Pickup trucks tend not to advance at quite the same pace as the rest of the industry. That's what makes the new Ford F-150 so remarkable, jettisoning its old steel construction in favor of aluminum. It's a game changer that Ford is betting big on, and in anticipation of surging demand, the Blue Oval automaker is adding 850 new jobs to put the thing together.
Those 850 new employees will be centered at Ford's Rouge complex in Michigan - with 300 at Dearborn Stamping, 50 more at Dearborn Diversified and 500 at the Dearborn Truck facility, the latter of which has already kicked off what Ford describes as "the largest manufacturing transformation in decades." Old manufacturing equipment is being replaced with the latest technologies, and even the Ford Rouge Factory Tour is undergoing a complete overhaul.
The new jobs come as part of the commitments Ford made to the UAW in 2011 to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the United States by 2015 - a number which Ford has already exceeded at 14,000. Over 4,000 of those are centered in southeastern Michigan.
2013 Ford F-150 Limited
Mon, 28 Jan 2013The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.
